Our experience with Khov Homes has truly been a mix of positives and major disappointments.

To start on a positive note, the sales team and lender were excellent. From the beginning, the process of securing our home was smooth, clear, and well-supported. Communication during the buying and financing phase was strong, and they made what can be a stressful process feel straightforward and reassuring. For that part of the experience, we were very pleased.

Unfortunately, once we moved into the home, the experience took a sharp turn.

The home was delivered with numerous construction and finishing issues, including:

Unfinished and poorly painted walls

Split and damaged baseboards

Cracks and splits in the drywall

Missing caulking in multiple areas

Over-grouted flooring

Yard drainage and grading issues

And several other quality concerns

We made multiple attempts to work cooperatively with the builder to have these issues resolved. While they initially acknowledged the problems, the construction team’s follow-through has been extremely disappointing. What should have been handled promptly turned into months of delays, poor communication, and ultimately ghosting.

It took three months just to address paint, baseboards, drywall, and grout issues. We are now over four months into waiting for proper yard grading and drainage corrections, with no resolution in sight. At this point, emails, texts, and phone calls to the construction team are being ignored entirely.

Additionally, we were required to temporarily move out of the home so that drywall and paint repairs could be completed. The builder owes us over $1,000 in reimbursement for these expenses. We were told this refund would be issued within 30 days, yet it has not been paid, nor has there been any meaningful communication regarding it.

While it’s true that the appliances are nice and the neighborhood itself is decent, the quality of the home and the post-sale support have not met expectations—especially for a new build. To add to the frustration, the HOA fee is over $100 per month, yet it only covers basic landscaping around the neighborhood. There are no amenities such as a pool, clubhouse, or community spaces that would justify the cost.

In summary, while the front-end experience with sales and lending was great, the construction quality and after-purchase customer service have been extremely lacking. We expected accountability, responsiveness, and pride in workmanship—especially when issues were clearly documented—but instead have been met with delays, attitudes, and silence.
