Reviews frequently highlight responsive communication, helpful guidance through selections, and smooth coordination from design to closing. Many buyers praise workmanship and finishes, noting homes that match expectations. Some feedback mentions punch-list or trade partner issues during construction, though several reviewers say the team addressed concerns and kept the process moving. Overall sentiment trends very positive with an emphasis on professionalism and clarity.

The homes are beautiful and marketing experience good, but if you expect a "Darling Homes construction experience”, be forewarned. Even after paying a higher price point, our construction experience had multiple disappointments:

* Some services were never fulfilled because multiple subcontractors went out of business during the build
* Some subcontractors refused to fulfill change orders in the contract
* There was poor quality installation in some areas of the structure and installed accessories
* Beware of the one-sided contract terms

Tradition did an exceptional job in an always evolving and challenging home building environment. Their experience, team, suppliers, process and quality control were evident from day one and through final ownership. Especially, their professionalism and making the customer expectations a top priority. Plus, their friendly support throughout the well oiled process made things run smoothly.

We have built many homes and been involved in a wide variety of commercial construction projects over the years. We know the process very well. It’s never easy or perfect. However, in our experience with Tradition, things went as smoothly as anyone could expect. And if there were any bumps along the way, which were few given the complexity of the design build process, Tradition resolved them quickly and with care.

The professionsl process and the quality of their homes were the main reasons we selected Tradition. From design and material selections to the build and final finish details process, our home was delivered on schedule (if not a little before) and met or exceeded our expectations.

We are looking forward to creating a great lifestyle and memories in our new home and Tradition made that happen.

One star for their one-story floor plans and one for great communication/customer service PRIOR to closing. Our construction manager, Andrew, has continued to be helpful after closing.

When you’re building a home, it’s imperative to make sure all of the structural, plumbing, and electric items are done while the walls are being built for obvious reasons. We requested two shower heads in the master bath, so that we could both use the shower at the same time. This was done at the design center they partner with (Southwestern Interiors) and we were assured that the correct valves were ordered so we could both use the shower at the same time if we wanted to. There was no reason to question if they knew what they were doing, as we had this same setup in our last new build, so we signed off on the spec sheet. This same spec sheet is being used to justify that they did nothing wrong – they installed what was ordered. Nobody wants to listen or understand that the wrong part was ordered, or that we were lied to prior to signing off on something that was wrong after we were told it was correct. No apology, not one, ever – even after I pointed this out in my last communication with them several weeks ago. The only comment I got was that it sounds like there was a miscommunication. They didn’t hold the design center accountable, and both companies just shifted blame to each other. To this day we don’t know who actually ordered the wrong part, and sadly nobody cares because they already got our money. They didn’t even pretend to care or apologize.

If you are OCD and/or expect quality for the amount of money you are spending, this builder is not for you. Their models are gorgeous because you’re seeing the interior design and not attempting to clean it or have work done to it. Walls are not perpendicular to each other, walls are bent, at least half the doorknobs are crooked, and both our inspector and drywall guy noted sloppy trim work. We had damage on our countertops, Wolf appliances, doors, and bathtubs. Nobody protected our floors when they moved our oven in and out of the wall (at least four times – do not recommend attempting a flush install), so we had to have over 20 planks replaced and in that process, additional planks were damaged. I expect my kids to damage plenty of things over time, but not to have someone else do the honors before I move in.

Some of these things are probably just how homes are being built these days with cheaper materials, but I fully expect a builder or any company to apologize for misleading a customer or if their customer was not happy with a final product/service. And most companies, especially small companies, go above and beyond. Tradition Homes couldn’t even bring themselves to apologize for a major issue, let alone help resolve it.

What an amazing experience! From the design process to the build to the small hurdles (expected) along the way, the team was amazing and we genuinely felt like we were "heard" in our requests and communications. Truly a wonderful process and the end product turned out as such a luxurious home that we are so proud to show off. We were picky and we didn't see any short-cuts made in the build. The home is beautiful and we are such proud customers. Thank you Tradition Homes team!

Tradition Homes was fantastic!! Kelli, Shawn, Jazz and Patti were all super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They go out of their way to make this long process easy and enjoyable. My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience and can't thank the entire team enough, our home is exactly what we envisioned and more!! Highly Recommend.
