In 2014 Lowell built a farmhouse for my family in Hardeman County, Tennessee, about an hour drive east of Memphis. My family and I live and work in Memphis so we could not be at the construction site every day. It was imperative to find a quality builder we could trust to build our farmhouse as if it were his own. Lowell went beyond our expectations. The quality of the craftsmen he employs are second to none. Lowell kept us informed through each phase of the project patiently answering all our questions and advising us on decisions we needed to make. I can honestly say I never felt any significant stress and enjoyed to entire building project from start to finish. Even after four years, Lowell is readily available and willing to help us with any questions that come up. We now have a beautiful farmhouse that we love and enjoy and will be in our family for generations to come.
Recently I used Lowell Hays construction to update the exterior of our house. He said he would spiff it up, and that’s exactly what he did, and we were so pleased. We got a new roof, fresh paint, porch remodel, new lights,and a new walkway. I had some ideas when I first consulted with him, and he used them and improved upon them. Lowell was pleasant to work with, responded quickly to texts, emails, or phone calls. Now my house looks great and badly needs landscaping; Lowell was kind enough to give me recommendations for landscapers.I have some interior projects I want done, and I will not hesitate to call Lowell Hays to do those.
Three years ago we used Lowell Hays to update our house he is perhaps the best of the best when it comes to contractors.- His estimate ($100,000) was put in writing and he had no overages. As always in construction some things weren't perfect the first attempt. Lowell would always catch problems and fix them without us asking.- We would leave town during construction and he personally made sure our house was locked up every night. We had zero problems with theft.- When things were delayed or problems arose Lowell would call and explain why. He always answered our texts or phone calls quickly.- We had a problem with the heated flooring in our master bathroom over 1 year after construction. Lowell had it fixed no charge.In summary Lowell is honest, fair, and up to date on all construction matters from start to finish. If I buy another house Lowell will be the man to manage the remodel.
