Regency has been absolutely incredible to work with from my agent Carolyn Lane to the builder Johnnie Tubbs!Carolyn and Johnnie both have went above and beyond through the entire process making sure everything was perfect and just right! Wonderful communicators and truly care about your experience and the work they do! 10/10 highly highly recommend Regency and specifically Carolyn and Johnnie!
We built with regency, and just moved in recently. They had lots of options for upgrades and customization, more than I was expecting. They did a great job getting everything installed and helped us resolve issues as we saw them pop up.Johnnie was our builder, and he was absolutely fantastic to work with. Responsive, understanding, supportive, and professional yet very friendly and relatable.
We recently worked with Tia Williams of Regency Realty to design and build our new home. Not only did Tia’s design expertise really shine through, she made every step of this journey so much fun! She personally made sure that we were getting every possible feature and option that we needed to truly make our house our home. She was a dream to work with and has now also become a great friend. It is not only us that had this great experience, everyone of our neighbors that also worked with Tia would say the same thing. She knows what she is doing and it really shows in how much she cares about her clients!
So I must say I am definitely proud of my purchase (personal goal of mine). However, I am DEFINITELY unhappy with Regency. I closed 1 1/2 months ago but I have only been living there for about 2 1/2 weeks now. The QUALITY of this brand new home is slim to none. It seems to me that they only focus on QUANTITY versus QUALITY. I am having electrical problems already. When you watch TV upstairs, it trips the breaker and then the lights upstairs triggers another trip. When you use the dishwasher and garbage disposal, it trips the breaker as well. So every time I wash dishes or use the dishwasher, or watch TV upstairs, I have to go freeze in the garage, go back upstairs just to see if its working. The bottom of some of the doors look like something has been chewing on them, and they tell me ITS COSMETIC!! are you kidding me right now? I most definitely will NOT be referring them to ANYONE and pray it doesn't get any worse than the electrical problems or we will be going to court. They are just throwing these houses up. They have 2 more houses being built next to me and they have built this crap in 2 weeks. I can only imagine the problems those 2 will have. Then their construction workers are using MY TRASH CAN to dump their garbage.
Just another example of regency, we have a water leak so needed to look where it’s coming from so we cut into the wall. Look at what they left under the stairs for us. And a reminder of the quality control. They didn’t even put all the screws in the hinges. There are so many examples of my house and my mothers both custom built with down payments. I will not recommend regency to anyone. Have your own inspector look at as house and buyer beware!
