The thought of building new was not something we were looking forward to. Not local to the Grand Strand, therefore we were not going to be available on a day to day basis to inspect completed work. I needed to secure a builder that was very proactive. Scott Mulden of Dawol Homes worked very well with the Tidewater Design Review Board and all the municipalities in the Grand Strand throughout the entire building process. Excellent with her wonderful tastes in architecture and attention to details from Krissy Mulden made selections from casework to paint colors a pleasure. Dawol Homes craftsmanship was outstanding and their ability to stay on schedule and within budget was key and very impressive. Dawol Homes have surrounded themselves with a pool of excellent subcontractors with plenty of experience. I never knew that constructing a custom built home could be so easy. Dawol Homes made the entire process painless. We at Flooring Panda have been working with Dawol for many years and have always been impressed with their commitment to fulfilling every detail of the clients wants and needs. They make building a home as stress free as possible.
We interviewed 6 potential building partners in our search to build our custom home. We took our time and found Scott and Krissy with Dawol. We are elated with our choice and resulting home.One of the questions I asked was “why should we pick Dawol?” Krissy responded “premier customer service. You call or email and we’ll either answer the phone live or get back to you within a few hours.” That matters. And they lived up to that promise all throughout the build.We designed our custom build. Their architect was awesome. Made a great first draft that was 90% to our vision. And within a week we were locked in to the final design. Before we put a shovel in the ground Krissy pointed out a potential change that saved us a lot of money. We took them up on that idea.This was our 4th custom build. Dawol was our best. We’ve been in the house for about 15 months. Scott has asked me for our 1 year punch list. That list is quite short. Only 1 nail pop. No noticeable settling issues. No cracks. All signs of a quality build.I was on site quite a bit during the build and interacted with the subs a fair amount. All were highly professional and organized. They cared about their work product.In the end we have a beautiful house and are enjoying living here. And we’re very happy we chose Dawol. Would strongly recommend for all coming to the MB area.
Dawol construction did a wonderful job building our home. Scott and Krissy, we’re there every step of the way !!! The girls in the office worked tirelessly on paperwork and making sure everybody was on the same page. Everything was done in a timely manner, and there was no task that couldn’t be accomplished. The suppliers that they used were also helpful in making our decisions. The entire process was stress free. We are so happy to be here in our beautiful home for years to come.
