This review is long overdue as Carefree Homes (Fairhaven location) did so much for my family over the past year - new roof on my and my dad’s homes, addition of gutters and gutter guards, the installation of three new sliding doors and overseeing the cleaning and staining of my siding. I was so appreciative to have one business who could help with all these needs and consistent, friendly contacts before and during the work. The family pride of Carefree Homes is apparent in all interactions and the work they do. And their help didn’t stop after the projects - they’ve been welcoming of a few questions I’ve had since.When a company has been in business for as long as they have, especially in a competitive and sometimes “flighty” industry, you know they’re doing things right. I didn’t hesitate to contact them for each new project I needed and you shouldn’t either.
Care Free Homes recently completed renovations on our home including a new roof, new siding and new trim. We are VERY pleased with the results. We have gotten so many compliments from family, friends and neighbors saying how much they love our ‘new house’. Dana and Bob were very professional and provided us with regular updates throughout the project. The crews were extremely experienced and meticulous. These guys do great work!
Last year we had the front of our Cape Cod Home shingled with the best grade shingles available and it really added beauty and equity to our 55 year old home. This year we were able to have the two sides shingled with the same quality shingles to match the front. We were so happy that we made this decision. The immediate improvement was amazing and, once again, we knew the value of our home had greatly increased. The Care Free Home team are all professionals and everyone had our best interest in mind.. Dana Pickup, the owner, understood our needs and our budget. Josh was a wonderful salesperson and was readily available to answer all our questions. The contractors, Ronny and Claudimei arrived on time every day. They were hard workers, very friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the duration of this project. We would definitely recommend them and Care Free Homes to all our family and friends.
We just had our Cape Cod house renovated and WOW! The wonder team of Nate and Nate (foreman and worker) are true craftsmen and perfectionists and they took such good care of our home and property. They worked in bitterly cold weather and never wavered in their friendly demeanor and work ethic. They are very detail-oriented and open to questions and take real pride in their work. We chose Care Free Homes after a lot of research since we wanted to re-side our house in CertainTeed Cedar Impressions individual vinyl shingles and Care Free Homes is a certified installer for this product. They also installed a new Azek deck, a Harvey slider door and a new roof. Our house is BEAUTIFUL and I can’t thank Nate and Nate and Carefree Homes enough!
