A really big shout out to VAZ CONSTRUCTION for the AMAZING JOB,everyone was very professional and clean, friendly, and did such a wonderful job. The demolition guys were great got everything out in one day with no mess they made sure to cover everything and cleaned up all of the mess afterwards, they got all the cabinets put back in the next day. Countertops went in the following week all together the whole kitchen was done in less than 3 weeks.I was so nervous with all the stories you hear about contractors who rip you off or do crappy jobs, but not Vaz they went above and beyond. Also Joe from Persison windows for the cabinets he was great to work with. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in the project ?? ??.
What started off seeming like a good company, ended up not being so good. No communication, lack of urgency, no attention to detail always a different person on the job which caused a-lot of problems. One guy would be there for three days and then someone new would show up and have no clue what the last guy did. One of the employees painted the bathroom walls without even wiping the walls down after sanding. What a mess and it had to all be redone, which I am sure would not have happened if I did not complain. At one point, I had to tell the project manager that I did not want anyone in my home until I met with him. The lack of craftsmanship, and integrity was upsetting to say the least. Who puts kitchen cabinets in before painting??? Once the job was complete, it took Vaz Construction another month to come back and finish the things that were not completed. Overall the experience was very disappointing, even more-so with the amount of money they charged us for their sub par work.
I had Vaz construction for my recent roof replacement. They did quality work, showed up when scheduled and completed the work on time. Workers were efficient, polite & courteous. They cleaned up my property when finished. I would highly recommend Vaz construction to anyone.
I had an excellent experience with Vaz Construction and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. They recently replaced a door and frame at my home, and their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work were outstanding from start to finish. Rubiro and helper took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and completed the job on time with zero hassle. The new door and frame not only look fantastic but also feel incredibly solid and secure. It’s rare to find a company that combines craftsmanship with such professionalism—Vaz Construction truly delivered on both fronts. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality construction work. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!
They can’t be trusted. You better get every detail of every part of your project in writing. They refinish cabinetry by priming and painting on top of the current finish. No sanding and the painter asked to use whatever cleaner I had in the house to clean the cabinets. The manager saw the pathetic job that was done but they signed off on the work before it was even started. They knew it was just priming and painting. A construction company doesn’t know that sanding is needed first? They puttied one section and didn’t even sand it before painting it. The manager said they would fix the cabinets but never talked to the painters. The painters came back and talked about touch ups. Touch up? I fired Vaz and paying others to do the job right. They are all about the profit and not about the quality of work. I wouldn’t trust them for anything. Especially for work you can’t see. There lack of integrity is far worse. Beware! Wouldn’t trust them for any work. Run from them. BTW they didn’t even use cabinet paint. People who work for Vaz even if they are subcontractors represent Vaz. The customer doesn’t know who they are using. They knew who they hired and knew exactly how they planned on painting the cabinets. I’m sure they used them before. It wasn’t just the cabinets that were the issue. They broke my panel breaker and I believe they damaged one of the rails on my porch. I gave them an FYI for their next job. I never asked for money. They didn’t even say sorry. They took off my linoleum floor but not the sub floor. The manager was like if you want the new Kitchen floor to be level with the other floor I had to pay more, almost 4K more, for a new sub floor. I was scratching my head and was like didn’t I discuss how I wanted everything the first time they came to give me a quote? Who wouldn’t want the floors flush in a kitchen renovation. The contract was so generic that I had no proof of what I discussed. I figured I was stuck. I’m sure that’s their MO to charge people more. Get every single detail on paper and cost for every part of the project if you want to take the risk of going with them.
