My review is partly in whole for my experience this past Friday I’ve been working with this company for about six months in the process of building my home and so far it’s been good. Heather reached out via email to let me know that the flooring I selected months ago was discontinued. The other places of the company offered a step up level flooring from the one I chosen that is included in the cost of the house at no additional charge!! I would’ve completely missed the email. Had Jodi not sent me a direct text to let me know to reach out to Heather. The reason for my review is the prompt communication that this duo has provided even within my busy schedule being tunnel visioned into my work, computer most of the day and neglecting my phone cell phone for hours ??. Once I got on the phone with Heather her upbeat bright shining personality just poured through the phone. She’s so warming, inviting, and helpful. every interaction I have with her is like she wakes up, loving what she does and I’m thankful to have her as a point of contact! This in itself just makes this process stress free. A+ for prompt and timely communication as well as superb customer service!
Dealing with the N.N. location was the best. Heather couldn't have been more helpful. When I did plans and colors for my build, Heather helped my so much when I was overwhelmed. Then I had a big issue when my floors were discontinued. I was devastated. I went into the office and Heather had my previous choices pulled out, to help me find a replacement that matched the best. I truly wished she had been our salesman the whole time.
Our experience with Mitchell Homes has been a wonderful experience thus far. They have helped us every step of the way, answering any and all questions we may have. From the office/showroom to the job site we never feel as if we’re in the way.
Building our house with Mitchell homes has been a pleasant experience to picking out our house plan and customizing it to our liking . The building process has been stress free and exciting to watch them build our home. We are so happy with the progress and quality of our home and we recommend Mitchell Homes to anyone.
We started in March 2022 with Mitchell Homes and Finished in July 2023. I helped build a home on 5 acres and it took 6 weeks to build. this was in Isle of wight County. It took 18 months to build in Surry County. The Covid, bad contractors, County people were unable to find qualified employees and silly mistakes from the County caused us to find a place to live while waiting for our house to be built. I do not blame Mitchell Homes because they were unhappy as well. We have been in our new home for a year now and we are very pleased with everything. Finding good contractors now days is a hard job in its self and I appreciate that Mitchell was able to complete this house even though they suffered through all this. Thanks Gary
