We have used Brian and his team over the past 11 years, since we purchased our home after he renovated it. It used to be a school originally. Since that time, we had a lot of damage from the original builder's flawed design. Brian and his team worked diligently to fix all of the damage over the course of a year plus. He was very communicative and the quality of work was excellent. I appreciated his transparency in his pricing model. He is well connected and always has someone who can help, no matter what the issue is. He stands by his work and is always willing to come and give his honest opinion on the matter.
Excellent results! Brian, his son Zach and project lead Ian did a fantastic job remodeling hall bathroom and laundry area, then the owner’s bathroom. So happy with their work, I added third floor guest bathroom to the project. Safely executed, great quality, and on well communicated schedule. Was able to complete three bathroom remodels at a very fair and reasonable cost. Highly recommend.
I hope Brian is a better builder than he is an investor. I am helping my 91 year old Mother sell her condominium on the bay in Ocean view where Brian does a lot of work. There are two units currently listed, one for $235k and a second for $230k. Brian asked for my "no BS bottom line" price and I told him $195 which was $35,000 less then an identical unit. He insulted us with an offer of $175,000. He didn't hesitate to brag about the countless houses he built in East Beach or the fact he was going to his beach house on the eastern shore but if you have to get rich by taking advantage of other people it's a sad existence. I live in Williamsburg and know several custom builders that built most of Fords Colony, Kings Mill and Three Rivers and they are all fair business men. During the oil crisis during the Obama administration several had 8 price increases in a year and never passed that on to their customers. So please do your homework before contracting with Brian. Profit is not a bad word, gluntany is a sin.
