We could not be more pleased with Charles, Martin, Julia and everyone else at Millers Builders who did such a spectacular job with our bathroom renovation. It was a complete re-do of a full bathroom in a restricted space for a house built in the 1940's. We had a terrific design and plans, but execution of the project demanded so much more than just achieving what was on paper. There were unavoidable surprises (as happens every time you open up some old walls) and on-the-fly adjustments and improvements as the work progressed "on the ground". The Millers Builders team and their superb subs met (and often, anticipated) every challenge - with excellent results each time. Charles and the team were always available with practical, and expert, guidance and over-the-top attention to detail. Always straight talk, always there for us. The attached photos show a completed job that exceeded our quite high expectations. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Millers Builders is a fantastic team to work with. They did all of the construction for a kitchen facelift in our 1950's house, and the craftsmanship is excellent. They successfully navigated some tricky details like moving the exterior hinges of our cabinets to the inside and refinishing the exterior of the cabinets to look brand new. Everyone who worked in our house was meticulous and respectful. I would highly recommend this group for remodeling work.
Millers Builders did a phenomenal job on our project, which was converting a 1-car garage into an ADU with a full kitchen and bathroom. They also helped us with our front gate and leveling part of our front yard for a parking pad.Throughout the process, Charles was extremely communicative and thorough. He really takes care to understand what details you care about, eliciting feedback every step of the way. He is very friendly and personable, and goes out of his way to make sure the finishing touches are exactly what you're looking for.The team was all super friendly and kind to everyone they encountered, including our neighbors and kids. They were all clearly talented at their trades and did a nice job pulling the whole project together. This team can do anything, and they will do it with a lot of pride and craftsmanship.I would without a doubt not hesitate to work with Charles and his team again, and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a great contractor.
And two thumbs up for Millers Builders !Charles & company have worked on four homes in our family.And we've all been delighted with the finished product, their flexibility and great attitude of the crew.Our projects were somewhat loosely defined as they got started. Charles helped steer us away from ideas that were overly complicated or expensive to implement. He was consistently practical, worked well with city inspectors and cost conscious.The residence in the not very good attached photos was built in 1936. MIller Builders took all the rooms down to the studs, completely replacing the electric wiring and plumbing in the process of the remodel. Charles has good working relationships with subcontractors, all of whom treated us honestly and performed well.
