We decided to build with Sun Custom Homes and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Jerry, Jeff, Steve, and Kim make an incredible team. Jeff made the design phase simple and enjoyable, Jerry communicated everything financial clearly and transparently, Steve did an outstanding job bringing our vision to life, and Kim kept everything organized and running smoothly from start to finish. Any time a problem came up, they were quick to offer thoughtful solutions, communicate clearly, and handle everything with professionalism. We’re thrilled with our new home and would absolutely choose them again!

Sun Custom built our current house in early 2017. 6 years later (in mid-2023) we had a leak in the hot water manifold resulting in some water damage to an interior wall. Although they had no legal obligation to fix the issue, Jeff Buller and Sun Custom repaired the damage (mold remediation, sheetrock and baseboard replacement, texture, paint, etc.) at their expense. We had been given an estimate of several thousand dollars for a third party to perform the same work. We had a few challenges with our build, but throughout the build process and in the years to follow Jeff always sought out a way to make things right. I am happy that he and Jerry Hogue are now the owners of the company as I feel they are builders first and salesmen second, and truly care about the quality of their work and their long-term reputation.

We’re so grateful to Sun Custom Homes for turning our dream home into reality. For years we toured many parade homes, gathering ideas and looking at the design and workmanship of numerous builders. When it was time to build our new home, we knew Sun was the right choice for us based on their quality craftmanship and ability to build a one-of-a-kind custom home tailored to our wishes and ideas. We now have a beautiful forever home that meets and even exceeds our expectations. With the build process completed, we’re also finding that Sun is true to their word in continuing to provide prompt service through their warranty program.
