Mancini homes don’t have manholes in the garage ceiling!! Why not?? If you were able to enter the garage ceiling cavity you would probably not see any insulation. March 2025 winter has left many Mancini Homes left with buckling shingles. One owner checked and told me today that there is no insulation. IS MANCINI BREAKING THE LAW?? The absence of insulation in a ceiling can indirectly contribute to shingle buckling during heavy snowfall. While snow itself doesn't directly cause buckling, the lack of insulation can lead to excessive heat loss from the house, melting the underside of the snowpack. This melted snow can then refreeze at the eaves, forming ice dams that can trap water and eventually cause leaks and damage to shingles and the roof structure.
