We have been very satisfied with the M. Lahr experience, especially working with Ryan, the warranty manager. Home construction is a big project and unexpected things will pop up throughout the process. Ryan was highly responsive and resourceful in addressing our issues, and often went above and beyond to make sure we were able to enjoy our experience with our home to the fullest extent possible.The rest of the team was also highly responsive, fair and flexible, always ensuring that our needs were being met, including Mike, the owner, during contracting, and Doug, our superintendent, during the project schedule and move-in.When we were looking for a builder to construct our home, while we lived 4 hours away, the M. Lahr team stood out because their designs fit well into the neighborhood architecture and the experience was as turn-key as possible including an in-house design team. Our experience up-front enabled us to trust the team to get the build done during a pandemic and while we were remote. We have been very satisfied with the results.
Mike, Buddy, Ryan, Erin and the rest of the team are the best! We worked with M. Lahr Homes in 2017-2018 and they helped us design and complete our vision for a modern twist on a mid-century style home in Delaney Park. Mike was personally involved initially in helping us pick a potential home/lot site, and then also helped in presenting variances to the city board. Once that was out of the way, Buddy took over as Project Manager and kept the project on-time and on-budget. Whenever an issue came up during the process it was handled professionally and equitably by Mike and Buddy. We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with. Recently, we had a few minor issues with a window and a sliding door, and Ryan (the warranty manager) came out and helped us resolved them quickly, 3 and a half years after the project was completed.

We bought one of their Parade of Homes winning homes in College Park and loved it so much we had them build a new home for us in Winter Park.
