We hired Brad Bradshaw and his team to finish our basement back in 2023. That was the first major renovation we’d done in our home and we were more than a little nervous about it, but we were put at ease from our very first conversation with Brad – and everyone we met afterward only strengthened our decision, because everyone Brad hires is the BEST at what they do.

This is not a thrown-together operation where one man is doing everything – he works with the best, most talented people for each job, from the framing to the electrical to the drywall to the tiling (shout-out to Dylan!) to the painting, everyone who entered our home was supremely qualified. We got to know many of them by name, and never felt uncomfortable with anyone. PLUS, everyone was SO clean! Our basement was always kept tidy and organized, which was not at all what we’d expected, but just another plus of going with Bradshaw.

Another highlight for us the was communication – we’d get weekly email updates about what was happening, and frequent site visits with Brad himself. They also largely stuck to our budget, which was wonderful because we’d always heard stories about final costs being insanely out of line with the initial quote, but any added costs in our case were due to our own decisions to change things or add things.

Craig, our site manager, was also fantastic. We saw him almost daily for much of the project, and we were so grateful to him for his endless patience with us and our constant questions (and occasional changes).

In conclusion, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bradshaw Builds for any home renovation project. Our basement turned out exactly as we’d hoped, and the process of finishing it could not have gone more smoothly. The Bradshaw Builds team was friendly, clean, organized, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and stuck to our timelines and budget. We’ve already had them back to help us brace and mount our gigantic television, and we absolutely look forward to working with them again on future projects!

We found Bradshaw Builds at the home show in Oshawa. We checked out a few other contractors but decided on Bradshaw after looking at his beautiful work and reasonable pricing.

We remodeled almost our whole main floor. Our kitchen traded places with the dinning room, took out multiple walls, and replaced all the flooring in the living room, dinning room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. Needless to say it was a huge job and I was super stressed about the project. Brad was very reassuring and extremely helpful every step of the way. We had meetings throughout the project to check in and review the work and ensure everything was going according to plan.

Bradshaw builds has a great team of contractors that genuinely enjoy what they do and it shows in their work. Brad leads by example and listens to the customers concerns. Both Brad and Craig make sure the job is perfect and communicate with you throughout the construction. They pay attention to all the details and consider both form and function in the construction. Dillon is the tile guy and I can't say enough about how amazingly breathtaking his tile work is. We went with a 2x2 tile everywhere! The floor is solid, smooth, shinny and the detail with continuing the grout lines on the floor returns is superb. Aside from the huge overall change the floor is what everyone notices first! Gorgeous! Kevin is a great help and works well with the team. The plumbing, electrical and window guys all did great work and are loyal to Bradshaw Builds. That alone speaks volumes about how great a company Bradahaw Builds is! Everyone that worked on our house I would highly recommend. It looks and feels like a brand new house. I love that they were able to maximize space. My husband is tall so he can use the cupboards all the way at the top and I love the pull out drawers way down at the bottom. We also redid the stairs, no more carpet! He was very considerate durring the construction since we have little ones at home. All safety precautions during construction were followed and accomadations were made since we lived at home durring the entire peoject.

I would go with Bradshaw Builds in the future and highly recommend their work ethic and performance. Check out some of the pics.

Amazing team! Bradshaw Builds took on my tiny bathroom and rolled with all of the secrets revealed during the demo, making repairs and suggesting improvements, taking it from chaos to boss. Dylan and Craig are both amazing. They do excellent work, are friendly and professional and enjoyable to have around, and are overall great ambassadors for the company. Both are easy to work with and have great attention to detail including clean up. If your project involves tiling, you need Dylan!

I can proudly say that I was one of Bradshaw Builds first customers. In 2016 I hired Bradshaw Builds for some renovation work and the work was such great quality that I had the company go on to fully renovate my entire house. I was extremely pleased with the work and the prices were great too. Since then I have gone on to refer several friends to Bradshaw Builds for numerous renovation projects. All of my friends have been very satisfied with the work Bradshaw Builds has done for them.

I am still enjoying the amazing work that Bradshaw Builds did on my house 7 years ago now in 2023. I have gotten numerous compliments on how nice my house works over the past 7 years and still get them because Bradshaw Builds did tasteful work that still looks modern and classy today. The work has held up very well over time which tells me that it was high quality and durable. Not only did Bradshaw Builds abandon our contract.
As part of our project Bradshaw Builds was to replace our wood burning fireplace with a new linear gas fireplace. We trusted this to be installed professionally and to fire and safety code. However, Bradshaw Builds failed to comply to construction standards and fire safety protocols. We used the fireplace for the first time and within 30 minutes the fire place caught fire. It is clearly evident that Bradshaw Builds does not know or refer to proper construction guidelines related to natural gas because spray foam is highly flammable.
TSSA is currently investigating the matter.
This is the final push posted however he abandoned the project. They walked off with the money that we paid for the finish and the quartz, As well as the remainder of the project was left incomplete.
