Willis Custom Homes

Willis Custom Homes was our choice to build our new home in Big Sky. We needed to down size but still wanted a quality, beautiful and functional home. We started with one of their model home designs but quickly made it a true custom. From the entryway that is home to our baby grand piano to the RV garage, we worked hand in hand with Patrick and his team to make it exactly what we wanted and needed. Each and every person along the way was attentive, promptly answered or returned calls, and kept us informed about the schedule thought out the entire designing and building process. It was a pleasure to work with the entire team at Willis Custom Homes to build our dream home. Wanda and Ken Eidson

I recently completed building my home with Willis Custom Homes and couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial design phase to the final walkthrough, they demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism. The quality of work is top-notch. They paid attention to the smallest details, and the custom cabinetry/trim work/foundation is flawless. My project manager, Zack, was proactive with updates, always available when I had questions. Betsy, their interior designer, is second to none and the rest of their team was very easy to work with when I made modifications. They managed the project efficiently and completed it on time. When I encountered a redesign of my deck steps they handled it professionally and kept me informed. I have been in my home for about six months and they followed up when minor touchups were noticed. I highly recommend Willis Custom Homes to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled custom builder.

Our new custom Willis house in Mission Hills is Tremendous! This is our second home that Willis Custom Homes has built for us, and honestly, they’re still hands down the best custom builder in the Kansas City area. The quality of the workmanship, the professionalism, and the genuinely friendly atmosphere they bring to the whole process—it’s tough to beat. Zack Willis was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were living out of state during the entire build, and he kept us updated with clear, consistent weekly check-ins so we never felt out of the loop—that meant a lot. This was our first time building in the City of Mission Hills, so there were plenty of city requirements and coordination. Zack handled every bit of it seamlessly: he stayed on top of keeping them informed, met all their requests right away, and maintained a super friendly yet totally professional relationship with the city folks the whole way through. I’m pretty sure the City of Mission Hills enjoyed working with him and the team as much as we did. The subcontractors that Willis Custom Homes uses were also great—very easy to work with, and they had nothing but positive things to say about working for the company. Having Betsy as our designer for all the selections was a wonderful experience too. Her knowledge and creativity made the whole process enjoyable. If you’re looking for a builder who delivers outstanding quality, handles all the details flawlessly, and truly makes you feel taken care of—from the project manager to the designer and subs—Willis Custom Homes (Zack and Betsy especially) is the way to go. We couldn’t be happier—5 stars aren’t enough!” Stuart and Megan Maffry

We purchased our home built by Willis Custom Homes, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. As you would expect from a former show home, the finishes and design details are exceptional. Every space feels intentional, high-end, and thoughtfully crafted. The quality of construction is evident throughout the home, and it’s clear that Willis takes great pride in their work. One of the things we love most about this home is how well it works for hosting. We enjoy having friends and family over, and the layout is ideal for gathering, entertaining, and spending time together. We consistently receive compliments on the design, flow, and overall feel of the home from guests who walk through the door. We are extremely pleased with both the home and our experience with Willis Custom Homes and would highly recommend them to anyone considering building or buying in the area.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Willis. The quality of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and communication exceeded our expectations. They truly deliver high end, luxury, custom homes. We couldn’t be happier with our new home and highly recommend this builder.
