Never again. WORST part of this entire experience...we made it abundantly clear we were getting granite countertops in our kitchen and bathroom remodel. Also were vocal about wanting tiny details like soft close doors and drawers. In conversations with John, decided it would be quicker to purchase what they had in stock versus the custom configurations. Never once did he indicate that the in-stock supply of island bases didn't have the structure to support granite countertops! And also never called out the stock supply didn't have the soft close features. Only figured that out when they were dropped off at our doorstep and the countertop guys came to measure AFTER all of the cabinets were installed. Now here we are, having to construct support beams and braces throughout the island to support the granite countertop he knew all along we were planning to install - we were even going to purchase counters through him but glad we didn't. This coupled with the fact that he didn't send enough/order enough back boards or trim pieces to fill the gaps in the measurements and the slow communication, so upsetting.
We went to Builders Warehouse wanting to price out cabinets. We drove 60 miles to possibly buy cabinets. We would pick up if ordered. The guy said they were short handed and could he email us an estimate. My husband said yes. He gave him the drawing with measurements and all of our information. He wrote down the two cabinet choices and colors. Now two weeks later and we have nothing. We are going to order elsewhere.
We recently purchased a marble vanity top in Carrera Frost for our bathroom remodel. The initial top we first ordered was made incorrectly so that was kind of a let down but Builders Warehouse reordered it a second time from the manufacturer and it looks beautiful.Nothing but good things to say about Builders Warehouse and if you are like us and want to shop local they are one of the best!
The wife and I went out looking for lawn furniture in April 2017 and I came home with a monster DIY project instead: remodel the kitchen and living room at the same time. I used Builders Warehouse for everything in the kitchen remodel. I thought the staff was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable when it came to helping me and my wife complete this odyssey into the DIY world. Bottom line is this place is cheap with quality stuff. It took me almost a year to finally get the house back in order. Thanks Builders Warehouse.
We had high expectations after seeing and hearing so many ads. We were hoping for prices more affordable than big box store prices. Specifically, we were looking for kitchen cabinets and a bathroom vanity. The bathroom vanity selection was very disappointing. All the same style and only a few colors to choose from. The cabinets seemed reasonably priced, but not much cheaper than anything you can find at big box stores. Not once did any employees approach us to see if we needed anything, either.Nothing in their stock really stood out as unique or "better" than other places.The best part was seeing the old building though. Unfortunate they don't seem to take pride in their space however... things were filthy/dusty and a mess.
