All I can say is WOW! In a day & age where customer service is almost non-existent, Matt at Centennial Homes if Rapid City went above and beyond. He is knowledgeable & kind & all about customer service. I recommend this company highly!
Brandon helped us find the house we wanted, even coming in on Saturdays when we were close by to answer questions and do walkthroughs with us. They got the house built, delivered, and set in less than 5 months and did a great job! We are loving it!
Matt has been my go to sales partner since the beginning. If I had a question or a plethora of questions, as was the case with me, he diligently answered them to the best of his abilities. I'd highly recommend you ask for Matt as your representative.
After reading many of the reviews we were a little nervous about purchasing our home. However, Centennial and Brandon have done a terrific job, Brandon captured all of the changes we requested and it looks great. The gentlemen setting up the house are efficient and do a great job. They aren't finished yet, but, to date, we are pleased and eagerly waiting to move into our new home.
Overall, our experience buying our modular from Centennial was decent.Trevor was our salesman, he is very nice and easy to work with.If you do make any changes to your home, MAKE SURE you get it on paper from your sales person. We had changed our kitchen island and I went back and forth via email with Trevor about the changes. He neglected to put it on the work order to the factory so we ended up with the island we did not want. Even though I have the emails from Trevor stating that our island was to be changed, we were told that since the house was finished that we would need to pay out of pocket for it.We did have some other issues but Aaron (the warranty repair person) took care of them and got us fixed up.Chris will be in charge of delivery and setup. Chris is pretty rough around the edges, good luck with him. They did get our home delivered and set on a cold snowy day in February, good job on that!!Expect another $10k-ish in expenses after your modular is set on the basement/crawl space. Plumbing and electrical will still need to be hooked up and finished. You will also need to caulk and paint the entire interior, which was fine with us since I put up tile in the kitchen and master bath. The plastic siding blows, but as soon as we get some hail we will be putting on steel siding and roof panels. In the end, we have a well built home that should last us many, many years.Thank you Centennial.
