I am happy to have had this builder, Build my home. Brent was awesome at showing us some model homes, and the general contractor mark walked us through the whole process. And their app for your phone is awesome, to constantly get updates and pictures as they are building your home.

Julia Santangelo of Berks Homes is truly a heaven-sent helper of destiny. From the very first day we met her at the Model Home office in the North Hills development of Berks Homes, Northampton, PA, we knew we were in good hands.

Julia has an amazing sense of purpose and an uncommon level of commitment to her work. As first-time homebuyers, we were naturally anxious about the process, but Julia guided us every step of the way with patience, clarity, and professionalism. She made what could have been a complex and overwhelming journey feel seamless and stress-free.

She is honest, straightforward, and genuinely down-to-earth. Her sense of duty, care, and responsibility is rare, and words are hardly sufficient to fully describe the depth of her dedication. She went above and beyond her role to ensure that our dream of owning a home became a reality.

After over five years of searching, our journey came to a joyful end in less than seven weeks from the day we met Julia—not only did we find a home, we moved into a beautiful new house built by Berks Homes.

My wife and I stumbled upon Berks homes during our house hunting search. Initially we were looking at other builders but a few things ultimately helped make our decision. For starters… 1. Brent who is our home consultant is awesome. He discussed each floor plan in detail, helped us stay within our budget which means a lot, and is always willing to accommodate us. Whenever we reach out he responds back in a timely manner but he also sends us updates. Brent has truly shared in our excitement of us becoming new home owners. 2. The selection process with Amy was fantastic. The Berks home gallery is very nice and gives you the opportunity to customize your home how you like. The only drawback is there are not a lot of options for certain styles and items but I think it’s to keep you on track with budget and not make it overwhelming for you. What I loved most was we included our teenage daughter in the process and Amy made sure to make her feel welcomed by valuing her opinion. 3. Depending on where you build you will meet your superintendent who keeps the construction on schedule. We have the pleasure with working with Mark. He is very meticulous in his work and makes sure that the contractors are putting out great work also. I would absolutely recommend Berks if you are looking for your new home. From start the experience has been great.
I will update this review when we are officially closed but I can say that right now our expectations are being fully met. Any and every question we have has been answered or addressed. Thank you Brent, Amy, and Mark for providing my family and I with great service.

We built in Penn Preserve in May 2025. The Berks Home sales team is incredible. Christine was personable, responsive, and just the sweetest! We would 10000/10 recommend her and would totally work with her again. We also loved working with Taylor, the building supervisor! He walked us through everything from day one all the way to orientation, and continued to follow up after we moved in. Super awesome guy!

Minus one star for the absolutely TERRIBLE landscaping company they use. Our entire neighborhood was awful and FULL of rocks! We had to manually remove rocks from our yard for months. they also forgot to put a tree in our yard, so when we called for them to come place one, they destroyed the yard and the grass that was growing without saying anything or fixing it. My husband had to go back and relandscape the entire yard.. not something you want to have to do in a new build.

Otherwise, the Berks team was amazing :) would recommend!

If I could give them a zero I would.
Horrible communication don’t follow up on things they were supposed to fix in the house for nearly a year. Try to charge for a HOA did not exist. Tried to backdate the charges. Here are some of the terrible pictures that are broken down crane behind my car for a week that I backed into because they did not fix it or move it. I had to call the police. Do not buy a home from these people.

Update I moved out four months ago. I just had a picture of a potted plant that I put out for trash four months ago still in the same spot in the yard. The neighborhood is trash. Berks is terrible.
