Hello my name is Edgar I am just letting you guys know I did have a bad experience very bad we paid off the house cash and it's been more then 2 weeks and still have not received my keys even though we did all paperwork the owner in guessing sin III ce we put in a offer was very rude and unprofessional I will continue putting up reviews of things for other to watch out for ? They don't answer there phones what so ever and when they do it seem like we are bugging them when all we want is to know what's is going on and just normal questions bad bad bad all the way through once we are in the home I will share my experience on that like I said I will be leaving lots of reviews here of just how bad a of a experience this was and we didnt pay in payments we gave them all the money they argued for ! I've left multiple messages never got a call back just all around horrible I hope the house is better then the costumer service !!!
We purchased a home through Craftsman Homes in 2024. It's a 2 bed 2 bath single wide in a park but it was brand new. I am not complaining but just giving a true review. I am very thankful to have a roof over my head that didn't put me into crazy debt. This house was made very, very cheap. Everything in it is cheap. The faucets are plastic, the counter tops are laminate countertops and the laminate wasn't even glued down all the way so there are a few bubbled up areas. The floors are linoleum and not glued down so when it's hot outside the flooring lifts up. The water heater was piped backwards so it didn't work correctly and we ended up having to replace it. The living room window frame was warped but we did get that fixed by Craftsman Homes. The carpet is the cheapest you can find and is so thin it can see the backing with little effort. The front and back doors are fiberglass or plastic and filled with foam. The trim inside is made of a tough foam but can easily snap and doesn't hold pin nails well. The trim around the inside of the home was coming off the walls and pieces that didn’t even fit correctly were used to fill in spots. The kitchen sink faucet was plastic so we replaced that. The floors are either made crooked or the house is not level. It's like the makers went and found the cheapest material possible and put it in this home. There was glue in several places on the floor, there was a spot we had to cut the carpet to remove a stick, there were several cuts and scrapes in the flooring and around the toilets… I don't even know how to describe the flooring mess up's there. The only great thing about this place is the heater. It keeps our home way too hot but that's good. We can keep the thermostat low most of the time when it's cold outside. When it comes to Craftsman Homes as a company here in Reno Nv, they are not very helpful unless you harass them continuously. That's what we had to do within the first 90 days. They fixed a few things but what a pain in the rear it was to get them to do it. Lately, we have been asking them for a sheet of linoleum to match our home so we could cover a tear in the floor. The same lady in the office has told us they would have a piece of linoleum for us when they get the next home shipped to them. We have called and talked to this lady and have left messages and gone into the office 7 times now and still NOTHING has been done. No one has contacted us and no linoleum has been offered. This office is very poor in assisting you unless they can get some money from you by selling you a home. If I ever buy another home it will NOT be from Craftsman Homes. My experience with this company has not been a good one and I will tell everyone I know who Is considering buying a home from them to go somewhere else.UPDATE, WE FINALY GOT SOME LENOLIUM. IT ONLY TOOK A YEAR AND A HALF OF CONSTANT ASKING. WE EVEN OFFERED TO BUY IT BUT IN THE END WE GOT IT FOR FREE.
I purchased my home through the Silver Springs location, but the Reno office handles all the construction, installation, and service work for the project. My sales person Kellie Wheeler was great to work with. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Rene Coronado, the construction Foreman was also excellent to work with and very knowledgeable. I really appreciate his expertise in concrete and construction. For the project. Overall, I highly recommend Craftsman Homes. They thoroughly helped me design the home and get it all installed and set up on a concrete foundation and they built a 3 car garage for me which turned out really well. They did really great with all the exterior dirtwork/grading around the house. I hope the service side after the fact for any issues that comes up with the home under its 1 year warranty is just as great as well.
We purchased our new Manufactured Home from Craftsman Homes and Had Laura Golindo-Black as our Salesperson she was a delight to work with as well as very knowledgable we couldn't have found anyone better. Craftsman Homes was very good to work with also, everything done the way we wanted it. Thank You Laura and Craftsman Homes
We want to express our overwhelming satisfaction with the crew at Craftsman homes From the start, meeting Lori and experiencing her total expertise was amazing. From choosing the model, customizing the interior, to choosing the perfect exterior colors was an outstanding experience with her. When we saw what had taken place behind the scenes and what it took to bring it to completion we were beyond impressed. When we walked in and saw everything we envisioned there was no disappointment. Big shout out to the Craftsman team and a big four thumbs up for Lori and her team who guided us through to a beautiful end.
