Briarwood Homes

So far I have been really happy with my home from Briarwood Homes and have liked living in the Young’s Cove community. The house is well built, and in a great location, close to trails and the lake. The closing process went smoothly, and the Briarwood Team was helpful.

Buying a preconstruction property can be an overwhelming process, but working with Sveta and her incredible wealth of knowledge and excellent communication skills, helped smooth things over. She connected me with the right people to coordinate a PDI, answered my concerns long before the site construction even began, and has continued to walk me through next steps and so much more! Thank you, Sveta! I am so grateful for all your help and guidance.

I've personally been dealing with Svithlana for a while now as my condo is being built. She's been utterly exceptional at communication and ensuring all my questions are being answered. I'll never forget when she called me back on a Friday, after hours, going into a long weekend as she made it a priority to make sure my questions were being met. This is the type of service you can expect. Also wanted to give a shoutout to Katerina. She is also equally as accommodating and greatly helped me out during the PDI process. Anytime I have a question, her response time is incredibly quick and detailed. Between both Svithlana and Katerina, I truly believe both of them provide the "white glove" treatment for Briarwood clients, and always doing their best to deliver the best customer experience possible. Individuals like them truly make companies thrive to have continued success. Hats off to them!

Update: The hill has sprouted ragweed which of course my wife and I are allergic to. They said the dirt was just for grading but as you can see 4 months later it's still there and has turned into weeds. The incompetence doesn't seem to end. I can't get responses from Perry anymore because I'm sure by now everyone in this neighborhood has a plethora of complaints. I assume it will stay this way during winter but will keep updating so everyone can stay far away! Where to begin. This entire process has been atrocious. Purchased this new build with my wife, we have a 1 year old and couldn't have been more excited to move in. Fast forward to March, our house didn't pass inspection ( they never told us why, but with the endless amount of deficiencies I could guess). We have been nothing but patient with this builder but here are some stats on the employees. The site supervisor did such a horrible job he got let go mid launch. They have one handyman who spends more time outside on his phone instead of fixing these issues. The after sales manager barely gets back and when he does he just says oh that's unfortunate and doesn't fix anything. We are two months in and the air conditioner wasn't even hooked up. I've sent a picture of this giant pile of dirt that they are stockpiling in my backyard but I'm told it's for grading. Didn't realize it needed to be so high( it doesn't, they are lying). Oh they also lost my kitchen sink twice ( it came without one) we only got my sink a few weeks ago. The list goes on, id be happy to talk to anyone who wants to buy from here and tell you in detail how disappointing this was. Our inspection was the day before closing and they painted our house during the inspection so I don't need to tell you how that turned out. It's death by 1000 paper cuts. Everyday a new trade who isn't working on my house parks in my driveway and blocks in my pregnant wife who as I mentioned also has a 1 year old. They have vendors who try to just walk into your house and get snappy when you tell them that isn't okay. It isn't surprising that this builder's rating is so low. All in all extremely disappointing and I caution against them!
