I can’t say enough wonderful things about Vision Homes. They are appropriately named, they took my vision and made it reality. Excellent advice along the way. People told me that building a house was going to be very stressful process; quite to the contrary, I had a great experience. Most importantly, their follow through has been outstanding. A couple of years out from building our home, I can count on them to help me with questions that may arise. Vision homes are without doubt one of the premier custom builders in Rochester. Unlike many of the other builders in town, vision homes are truly a full custom home builder. Rather than tweaking plans from previous builds, Brian and Bruce helped us to design our home from scratch. This followed through the entire build process, with all of the specs of our contemporary home being unique and consistent with our design theme throughout.Vision homes were efficient, professional and trustworthy throughout the entire build process. Their attention to detail, and high standards were obvious throughout the build and really show in the final product. Additionally their network of subcontractors were all extremely knowledgeable, diligent and efficient throughout the build.Both Brian and Bruce we’re constantly available through the build to answer any questions we had throughout the process. Both builders have a wealth of experience which really proved helpful during the build and again reassured us of the quality of their work.Finally, Vision have continued to demonstrate their commitment to service since closure on the home. Any questions we have had have been promptly answered. Additionally Vision has scheduled both 1 month and 1 year walkthroughs of our home to ensure that everything is in perfect condition.We highly recommend Vision homes and would not hesitate to build with them again.
Before working with Vision Homes, we started the new home design process with a couple other custom builders we met at the Showcase of Homes, but it just didn't feel right. These other popular builders were over-scheduled, unavailable, and we felt pressured to go with floor plans & designs that they had already done before (or houses they had already built!). Like most local builders they subcontract out a lot of the design work to a drafter, which made the process feel rushed and disjointed. We were just one more house to get built asap.When we found Bruce and Brian with Vision Homes, it was like night and day. They took their time to get to know us and what we wanted. they were very accommodating with special concerns (low VOC materials) and unique floor plan requests. Bruce does the design work in-house, and having both Bruce and Brian (the "builder") available to inform the home design was invaluable. They were incredibly generous with their time and attention. I'm so glad we kept looking, and didn't settle when choosing a builder. I can't recommend Vision Homes enough!
