Lorrie and Travis are an absolute dream team when it comes to designing your custom home!The responsiveness is unlike anything we've heard of from our friends who have built in RVA. Instead of a project manager that you can only speak to once a week, you get real-time communication via Lorrie and Travis' cell phones. This saved so much time on the many questions we had.Change orders were also not a thing when it came to Legacy Homes. If they were able to accommodate our change request, they did. We’ve only got a few things to say about Legacy Homes and Lorri & Travis:You will never find better people to work with and even more important great people- Period!We had been looking for a home in Goochland with 1st floor living since we are getting up in years and climbing steps was becoming a real chore. My wife saw Swann’s Inn Estates in one of the real estate lists and we decided to go have a look! We met Travis and Lorrie on Saturday at one of the houses they were finishing up and immediately saw the quality of construction and finishing they put into their product and were sold! We signed a contract to purchase the following Monday morning!When Travis and Lorrie tell you something in relation to the new house it happens as promised and even better, when you ask for modifications or alterations from original plans, Travis makes it happen! We made modifications and additions constantly throughout the build and Travis and Lorrie were wonderful about accommodating us.Not only were Travis and Lorrie great, but their subs are the best! We got to know most of them personally and feel like we became personal friends with most of them. From the masons to the roofers, and the trades in between, all went above and beyond to do what we wanted and the way we wanted it done! All of the vendors/suppliers were receptive, patient, knowledgeable and very helpful with the selection process for the various features like electrical fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, tiling, etc.I know you could not make a better choice for your new home construction.

The process from drawings to blueprint and picking the materials were made easier than we thought. Swans Inn is a beautiful community and Goochland is the small town we were looking for to raise our family.
