We have been following Robson Homes for a number of years and have always been impressed with their build quality and craftsmanship based on their model homes, so we had high hopes going into this process. I am happy to say that the reality matched our expectations, and we are now proud homeowners of a Robson home.Our experience began with a wonderful conversation with Christina. Moving forward, we developed a great relationship with Lee Ann, Katie, and Charles. Everyone on the team was incredibly willing and open to listening to our needs. We are not easy-to-please buyers; throughout the process, we had some challenging and non-standard requests. Despite Robson not being a "custom" home builder, the team always tried to go above and beyond to ensure our wishes were met within their constraints.Having had a not-so-great experience buying from a national home builder in the past, we naturally had some skepticism. That skepticism was quickly addressed when we met the superintendent, Jay. Jay truly understands the homeowner's perspective and refuses to take shortcuts; he treats the home as if he were building it for his own family rather than just checking boxes. He was incredibly patient with our questions, always taking the time to explain the 'why' behind specific construction details. If a challenge came up, he didn't just report the problem; he came to us with thoughtful solutions ready to go. I consider myself a very detailed person, and Jay would consistently go above and beyond to ensure everything not only met but exceeded specifications. Jay is truly an amazing asset, and Robson Homes should try its best to retain him as it is very rare to find such a person.A home is a long-term asset, and we understand that with any human-made product, minor adjustments are to be expected. We have been very impressed with Robson’s willingness to address small repairs and fixes proactively and responsively. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality home.
