This CUSTOM HOUSE is by far the worst I’ve ever built. I’ve built $260k homes better than this. The garage doesn’t work, no screens in bathroom window, poor craftsmanship throughout entire home, put the rough in for wet bar in a closet, bathrooms don’t hv towel racks or toilet paper holders. Front/back yard was dead the day I moved in, AND THEY ARE UNRESPONSIVE! I was told by their superintendent, Greg, “don’t expect perfection “…He Also TRIED to talk over my fiancé and says he only speaks w/homeowner. This is the worst experience EVER for an $800k home. If you don’t believe this complaint, come and ask EVERYONE in Stonebridge Community. Find a better builder who will treat you with respect and courtesy. Been here 10 days and wish I walked away when I had the chance! William Ryan Homes SUCKS
And now my basement is flooded.! Only been in house 10 days

Horrible experience after closing the house, My house floor is buckled from day one, when we addressed this issue at the time of closing the site engineer has said that he would make sure that it will be done the very next following day and asked us to sign. From there the things got worst with the floor, there are humps and uneven surfaces all over the wooden floor and besides that my carpet floor on the upstairs is starting to make noise whenever we walk, my 2 year kid wakes up instantly whenever we walk close to him sleeping due to the noise. And when some one turns on the shower tap on the first floor, the noise can be heard at the main entrance door down stairs that’s how bad the quality is. When I addressed all these issues with William Ryan they make you wait and doesn’t respond. The site engineer Mike has done a very bad job here

We are in the process of building our forever home with William Ryan homes and have had so much fun doing! They have been very accommodating with everything going on this year! We are also out of state and have been able to do many things virtually which has been a life saver! Their homes are beautiful with open floor plans and tons of great features offered! Go check out the Savannah community and meet Montana! She is so much fun to work with, and has made this process so great for us!! We can’t wait to move in!

I closed on a house with William Ryan Homes on December 28th 2017. Prior to my closing I had a final walk through a few days before closing and the day of closing. The home had issues that was put on a "punch list" some of these items could not be completed prior to closing and I received a document called "Pre-Closing Homeowner Orientation" which is a punch list that has items they corrected, items that would be corrected later due to weather delays and items that were back ordered. I have been in the house now for over 6 months and I am STILL waiting for some of these items to be completed. I still need William Ryan Homes to replace a cabinet in my kitchen that was the wrong size and was also damaged, and I am waiting for them to paint my exterior trim that had very thin coat or in some areas has no paint at all. They also have to caulk the exit for the sub-pump around the siding as that was never completed. Anthony is no longer responding to me and giving me excuse after excuse. Saying the cabinet originally came in damage, then after he said it came in okay he would be out here end of April or may to replace it. That time came and then he stopped responding. I called the main office and spoke with Dawn who told me she would find out and call me back. She must have called Anthony because he then texted me saying he would be out the week of June 18th or at the absolute latest the week of June 25th. It is now past that time frame and Anthony is back to not responding to me, and I called the main office and left a voicemail with no response.

This doesn't even go into issues about the overall quality of their finish work, front and garage door not lined up properly and having drafts, so they put cheap rubber shims that only last a few months before getting destroyed. Hardwood floor scratched and scuffed up from contractors, stair rails all scratched and beat up, hardwood floor has a spot that is cut from the contractor cutting to far into a piece around a corner. Cabinets with chips and scratches all over them. Tiles all uneven and not lining up, driveway flaking/cracking already after a few months because they poured it late November when it got down to 25 degrees at night.

This being my first home I purchased I was very excited about the whole process. William Ryan Homes motto is "We make it easy." The whole process has been anything but that. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the house I received and William Ryans follow up or caring after I took possession of the house.

I am a homeowner and am very disappointed in William Ryan Homes. They do not want to take responsibility for their product. They ignore the facts and instead try to blame the homeowner for issues caused by their lack of communication and subcontractors. They will do anything they can to avoid paying for repairs to correct their own work, including asking your new neighbors to spy on you.

When I pull into my driveway after a long day at the office, I feel embarrassed and angry about my home instead of proud of what should have been our dream home. After all of the money we spent on our home and overpriced upgrades, we expected we would be treated with respect and as valued customers. We have a serious complaint with our home that is clearly not our fault, and we have evidence to back that up. Because William Ryan Homes doesn't want the expense of making it right, we have been called liars and our attempts to contact them for resolution are now being ignored. I have escalated my problem as far as they will let me, and that person says it's a business deal and not to take it personally. However, since it is my home and my hard-earned money, and I am being accused of not being truthful, I do take it very personally. I have spent so much time and energy trying to get them to do what's right and fix the mess that they made.

I cannot recommend this builder and wish I had found more real customer reviews when I was researching prior to buying a home from William Ryan Homes. I feel compelled to alert others to my negative experience so that they can make an informed decision.
