I have owned my home for a few years now, and was lucky enough to know Neal and Drew as they were starting their business. In a world of overpriced and mediocre contractors, MBM stands out in a great way. My house was a total gut and redo, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. Everything came out beautifully, has held up, and was much less than everyone else had quoted me. They were able to do all the various types of work, including changing supporting walls to add/change rooms, rewiring entire house, and making some very cool custom doors. I wouldn't waste time on a review if I didn't actually appreciate the value and good job. Highly recommended.
Neal and his team at MBM Construction are professional, reliable and very fair in all pursuits of their business. I have had them handle multiple projects for me from basic household jobs to full renovations which have all turned out great. Two things I look for when dealing with contractors are ability to manage a project and transparency, especially when it comes to pricing, and they deliver on both fronts. If you are considering a remodel, rehab, total gut or any construction project, be sure to include them in your plans as it is hard to find reliable people to handle these jobs. You will not be disappointed with their work!

Mbm Constuction is one of the best construction companies around. They converted my basement into an apartment . They were on time, priced very well and employees are very professional. I received several bids for my basement remodel and MBMs bid was very fair! The craftsmanship is great, their employees are professional, courteous and understanding. The project manager for my project provided some great ideas prior to breaking ground that will make my basement apartment more desirable. MBM construction kept the job site very clean. My remodeling questions were answered promptly. There were some change orders during the processes and they were fulfilled promptly.I recommend MBM construction to anyone who is looking for a remodeling/renovation contractor around the Albany area. As A home inspector I have refered mbm construction for various projects such as commercial remodeling, residential remodeling, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, decks and porch builds, room additions all through Albany, Schenectady and troy areas. Neal was great to work with, meeting me where I was every step of the way. They installed a couple bathrooms in my home, built closets, put in floors, and new walls up for a bedroom and all the work looks great, was done in a timely manner, and stayed within my budget!
