Building a home is one of the most personal and significant experiences you can go through, and choosing the right builder makes all the difference. From day one, Cecil exceeded every expectation we had.

Dan Grogan was nothing short of outstanding. His professionalism, knowledge, and calm leadership carried us through every stage of the build. He was organized, detail oriented, and always one step ahead. No question ever felt too small. No concern was ever dismissed. He took the time to explain things clearly, walk us through options, and make sure we were comfortable with every decision. You can tell this is not just a job for him and he takes pride in his work, and it shows in every detail of the finished product.

Cecil brings something truly special to the experience. He makes you feel like more than a customer you feel like family. There was never a moment where we felt like “just another project.” He genuinely cares about the people he builds for and that level of care and personal investment is rare. He listens. He shows up. He stands behind the work. That kind of character matters.

What stood out most was how collaborative and supportive the entire process felt. Building a home can be stressful but having a team that communicates well, treats you with respect and takes accountability makes all the difference. We always felt like we were in capable hands.

The craftsmanship speaks for itself. The attention to detail, the quality of work and the pride they take in delivering a beautiful finished home is evident the moment you walk through the door.

We are beyond grateful for the experience and the home they helped create for us. Without hesitation, we would recommend Cecil time and time again. If you are considering building, this is the team you want in your corner.

Saratoga Construction built my house on Saratoga Lake. It was a pleasure doing business with them. It was so easy working with them on the design of the house. They were very helpful when it came to choosing supplies (which was a challenge during the pandemic.) The work they did was absolutely beautiful and I love the house. Dan Grogan was the project manager and he did an amazing job. He helped with all aspects of the design and coordinated everything. It was exciting watching the whole thing come together. I actually had a great time throughout the process. I truly couldn't be happier. It is the house of my dreams and Saratoga Construction made it come true.

Saratoga Construction created a beautiful custom home for us and were incredible to work with from beginning to end. It was our first time building a home from scratch and on completely undeveloped land. The end result is beautiful and exactly to our specifications. The entire team was always so responsive and helpful from beginning to end. Thank you Dan, Cecil, Dominic, Meghan, Jen, and Debbie for all you did for us.

It is difficult to do a full review without a long story. But will try and keep it short. We met Cecil before we actually had purchased a lot on Lake George a few years ago, and when we walked the property the land was dry, and firm. Very wooded but nice sized lot. We discussed a modular home, as I thought living out of state, would be easier to look in on the construction, and it should proceed more quickly than stick built. We ended up changing the manufacturer of the home because of cost. That turned out to be a mistake. When permits were issued and it was time to clear the land, it was so wet the heavy equipment was getting stuck in the mud. We eventually had 2,000 yards of fill brought in. Once foundation was in, the home was delivered and assembled, only to find that the second story was not manufactured correctly and required a moderate amount of onsite renovation in order to make it as ordered. Trades were difficult to get in near the end. That being said, I want to say that Cecil has gone out of his way to make things right. Brought in fireplace manufacturer - who had to fly a service rep in to fix a faulty gas fireplace. Having watched things fairly closely I think that while we may have had some issues with land, and the home manufacturer, Cecil stood behind his work and did what was necessary to make things right. Even now, several years later, Cecil stands behind his work. His office staff, also was very easy to work with in picking fixtures, flooring, etc.

We want to say how happy we are with our new lake house built by Saratoga Construction. Cecil and his staff worked with us from start to finish throughout the entire building process. We had many questions during the build and they responded each and every time with answers to all our questions. We were sent updated photos throughout which kept us informed since we were 4 hours away from the build which is on the Great Sacandaga Lake. The quality of work from the foundation right thru the finished product was exceptional. Cecil, Chris, and Dan our thanks for a great job.
