Just stumbled upon this company and fell in love with a build! Danielle was helpful and gave us a lot of information. Since we are looking to move in a few years we will be visiting her again!!!
I debated writing this review four years ago when my parents purchased their home. I held off because I hate to leave a local business a bad review. At that time, we quickly and unfortunately learned that once the contract was signed all D & D cared about was that they get paid. They don't care about the quality of work, responding in a timely manner, the additional costs, or the extended length of time it takes them to build. Their yard was left a mess. Now, four years later they continue to have issues. They had to replace the septic pump already and now the microwave. The kitchen counters are peeling in the corners. The carpets are such poor quality that they will likely need to be replaced soon. This was supposed to be their dream home... and it could have been had they chosen a different company. Don't get me wrong, there were some great workers there too however I would not recommend D&D to anyone.
Best place to shop for modular homes!! Owners are fantastic people, attentive to your needs. Sales women are top notch! The models are meticulously decorated and you feel right at home!
I cannot express how happy I am with my D&D home! First, Robert was beyond helpful suggesting a tweak in my floor plan here and there and several other design options. We communicated daily and I trusted him implicitly in all aspects of this build. Dominick is a "No BS" builder who knows his trade and takes great pride in his finished product. My next door neighbor was a former builder (age 70ish) and it became his unpaid project to oversee my house being built. I would come on weekends and he would tell me what a great builder Dominick was. This was not a small project (3,200 square feet, not including the garage) and I am thrilled with my new home. If anyone wants to see it, let Robert know. He is always allowed to show my home on the Little Lake at Moosic Lakes.
We decided to build a home with D&D since one of our friends and a neighbor were very satisfied with there homes. Rob, our salesman was absolutely amazing. He would text us ideas and keep us informed at all times. During construction, Dom went far and above with his amazing and loyal crew to exceed our expectations. Each time we had a warranty issue, someone was dispatched within a day or two to resolve the issue. D&D are builders not just a modular company and it shows. They built us two amazing porches and a three car garage. We were able to customize everything not just take it as is. We did quite a bit of research on local companies and settled on D&D Builders.
