D.R. Horton quality! Shitty houses and shitty service. Purchased 2/2024. My A/c was improperly installed and they still haven’t fixed it. I’ve had to spend almost $1000 getting window units to keep my house cool. They do not take responsibility for their shortcomings and never keep their word about fixing things. They conveniently cancelled doing anymore 11 month warranty checks and always find a way to blame the owners. This is completely unfair treatment of the customer who thinks they are buying a brand new home with a “warranty” Do better DR Horton because your reputation is showing!

EDIT TO ADD TO REPLY : I HAVE BEEN WAITING AND CONTACTING YOUR WARRANTY DEPT FOR OVER A YEAR TO GET THIS FIXED!

This neighborhood is living up to its reputation by DR. Horton. I purchased a home in this neighborhood in 2-2024. My A/c unit was improperly installed amongst a list of other things and THEY STILL HAVENT FIXED IT! I have bacterial growth “aka MOLD” growing on my return now because they still have not fixed it properly. My family is breathing mold spores and I’ve been told that if I have it fixed myself then I’ve voided the warranty. How convenient! The warranty department promises to fix things to get you off the phone and then they don’t pay the contractors bills for the repair. They conveniently stopped doing 11 month warranty checks. The yards all FLOOD whether you have a fence or not. The warranty department is there to tell you that it’s your fault and they aren’t fixing anything. Please be careful and reach out to me if you have any questions.

My daughter and I have been residents of Bonterra for 3 months and we have enjoy it. It's an family-oriented neighborhood which I love . Had one issue with a door lock and it was taken care of right away. Plus my neighbors are so nice and helpful.

I was so impressed with the quality of these homes and how detailed the contractors were to make sure the house was in tip top shape for my clients. They have a fabulous warranty that makes it so easy for new owners to address and mishaps that make come up after their purchase. My sales rep was Charmaine Ford and she worked incredibly hard to get my clients the best price and the best insensitive package available. They have all been very happy with their new homes.
