Dennis Miller Homes

DHM Homes, Inc. built for us a beautifully designed, well crafted, larger home (5,000 sq ft); we have now lived in our home for 4 month and we are delighted with it. Here are some considerations associated with our decision to use DHM, Inc as our builder:
1) Sources well entrenched in the building community in the greater St George area speak and think highly of the DHM group; they have been here a long time; they have integrity. These endorsements were important to us; we now feel they were well deserved;
2) They truly are “custom” builders. In the design stage and throughout the building process, we feel we tested their patience as we were uncertain as to what we wanted; we revisited, added to, updated and continually altered our preferences as to what we chose, where we wanted it, etc. They advised us, shared their opinion (which was valuable and essential) and in the end they accommodated us. We feel we ended with an exceptional product of our choosing.
3) Their basic philosophy is to use quality materials, long known and trusted contractors and to insist on quality workmanship; the good news about this is the exceptional quality of the finished product; the bad news is that they are definitely not the least expensive available. For us, we are satisfied with this trade off and the choice we made.

If we were to do it again, we would choose the DHM, Inc. group to build our home.

Highly recommend this builder! Dennis Miller Construction (and Family) built our home in Ivins, about five years ago, and we were totally pleased with the entire process. I was so impressed, with the coordination between Dennis, his son Tyler and all of his subs (That have been with him for years) Well, recently, we wanted a fairly substantial renovation in one of the rooms- Dennis brought his crew in (same subs from the original build!) and knocked out the project in a few days. Building with Dennis Miller homes makes building a home seem easy. We built a custom vacation home with them hours alway from where we lived. We were nervous about building far from home but the project ended up being the easiest construction project we’ve done. There was regular communication and any problems were resolved easily and fairly.

They did a great job estimating the budget for us and helping us design a home that met our needs. The material selection was organized and within the budget of the project. When considering builders we were told the Millers aren’t just good builders but good people and they lived up to that reputation. We’d love to work with them again.

We loved our experience with Dennis Miller Homes. We worked closely with Jared on the project over the past couple of years to build our dream home and we couldn't be happier. Jared is a great designer, listens well, is a great communicator, sets expectations and was relentless with getting the details just right. DMH has a trusted group of quality subcontractors and vendors and they all over delivered. I can't recommend them highly enough.

When I first started the process of deciding whether to build a home from scratch, or buy a preexisting home, I ran across Dennis Miller homes and of course did what you are doing now. I googled the company and went straight to the reviews. I didn’t think it was possible for a builder to have all 5 star reviews, but they did.

I’ve now been working with the Millers for over a year and a half, from design through near completion of my home, and I can say that I have never had a better experience building a home.

The Miller’s were first and foremost honest and ethical in everything they did. They never once took advantage of me as a homeowner -even when I asked for changes AFTER things had been done. I would be remiss not to compliment all of their subs as well that worked on my home. Each one of them reflected the Miller’s values of honesty and integrity, but also brought a true “can do” attitude to the project and craftsmanship to their work.

The Miller Homes team was also great on their communication. Always responsive and always willing to work through problems (usually of my or my designers making) to come up with amazing solutions.

In short, when I build my next home in Saint George, it will be with the Millers, and if you are considering building in Southern Utah, I would highly recommend them. After almost two years, I can honestly say their 5 star reviews are deserved!
