Mike and his team completely renovated our 1950's cottage plus built a garage and studio apartment to custom plans from Allen Vellario at Davis Designs. The work took more time and money than planned BUT the quality end product is beautiful throughout. Sun Bay turned a tired cottage into a forever home. As PM, Mike successfully worked through tricky permitting and remained responsive when issues arose.

We had a fantastic experience with Sun Bay Builders. They did a complete renovation and addition to our 1980’s home. Basically everything was renovated or replaced down to the studs and a new family room, master bathroom and porch were added. Mike Miano, Superintendent Jason, and their entire team were very professional during the process and were very responsive to our many requests and change orders. They are a very ethical and professional company and provided quality workmanship with great attention to details. We would not hesitate to use Sun Bay again on any future construction projects.
We picked the perfect contractor for our major house renovation and expansion when we found Sunbay Builders. From the start to finish and now in the follow up phase they have been excellent. We started by meeting with Mike and his father Mike, who gave realistic numbers in cost and time. Chip, the construction supervisor, and all their employees were a pleasure to deal with. When we ran into problems or delays, as inevitably will happen, we worked our way through them together to the satisfaction of both parties. In this time of construction boom, finding a contractor that has good reliable sub-contractors is critical. Being in the business for over thirty years and highly respected, they have a long list of sub-contractors that are reliable and do quality work.If we ever do a project again, Sunbay will the people we go to. After such a long project we feel like they are family now.
We did an addition/remodel and construction is a daunting, stressful time. Mike and his crew made everything easy. From having someone on the job every day to helping us with design decisions. They were there every step of the way. The outcome is amazing we love our new home!
