I am a Fort Hood, TX Realtor who had the pleasure of doing my first deal with Eagle Ridge approximately a month ago with a buyer. When working with a new builder as an agent, there is some anxiety as to what to expect from the builder. There was no reason to be anxious with Eagle Ridge. Chris was a very responsive builder. My buyer fell in love with the interior stone decorating, Eagle Ridge's calling card. The rest of the home was superbly well done. On a tight timeline, Eagle Ridge delivered on everything they promised and left my buyer very pleased. That is what is important to me as an agent, and we left with zero complaints. The service and attention to detail was phenomenal, as was the price for a new construction home in Bella Charca. My buyer had looked at several other builders, and I am confident ultimately got the best deal and neighborhood with Eagle Ridge. I would highly recommend them to buyers considering a home in the Fort Hood or Temple/Belton area.
About 9 months ago I purchased an Eagle Ridge home. Since that time I've had to replace an exterior door, fix 2 major electrical issues, have about 1/3rd of the house re-plumbed, and as of today my entire HVAC system is fried because it was improperly installed. I can't begin to try and explain the level of frustration in thinking we purchased a nice and quality home only to be saddled with so many issues and a builder who doesn't respond to calls or emails because he already has his money and we're old business in his mind. If you're looking to buy very expensive "fix'er upper" then Eagle Ridge is perfect for you. If you want a quality home that you can have confidence in the construction and safety of the home then you should look somewhere else.
