I recently installed a brand new beautiful Silvercrest home (built down the freeway in Corona) and worked with Barrett at Macy Homes. I love the place and working with Barrett was amazing-- he is smart, patient, experienced and has a calm approach to it all. Barrett often had really good ideas about things I never thought about. Barrett is a gem and if you are smart enough to get a manufactured home instead of building one, Macy Homes is the place to get it.
We had a wonderful experience with Macy Homes. They patiently guided us through multiple iterations and revisions to our design and were strenuous advocates for us with the builder, Silvercrest Homes. We are exceedingly happy with the final product and the quality of the home. In every sense, our home exceeded our expectations for quality, fit and finish. We built our unit in the front of our property in Ojai and it blends in seamlessly with our home. At every step in the process of buying and building our new ADU, Macy was there for us and delivered exactly what they promised. If our main home was destroyed by fire, I would probably replace it with some kind of Macy home. These guys are great!
Working with Macy homes on design was nice but!! What you design and order are not one and the same. Never saw the home before delivery and basically everything that was discussed and paid for was either not there or just terrible quality. Regret taking this path.I wanted to have a more environmentally friendly built home but if I would have known the quality or dare I say lack of quality I would have spent the extra to build something better.If you buy a home like this for budgetary reasons then by all means do it.
It was a pleasure working with Macy Homes on the design & purchase of a mobile home for my mother. I also thank Derek for his efficiency in addressing all concerns post installment. My mother is so cozy and comfortable in her new beautiful home. She is the envy of the neighborhood!
Macy Homes are the very best! I had to re-build my home after the big Woolsey fire in 2018, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Working closely with Michael and his team was a really great and wonderful experience - I highly recommend them!
