Run don’t walk away from this company. They will NOT build your ADU in the advertised (Quick) time frame. They will lie to you. They will damage your existing home . They left our gas water heater unvented for 6 weeks and caused Carbon Monoxide to vent into our kitchen and cause our family to get sick. They will bill you early for services not completed and materials not ordered. They will leave your home open and exposed to water damage. This is only a small portion of the issues we have had with this company . We started this process in October of 2024 and our ADU is still not even close to being finished . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Luca built 2 beautiful solid homes for us.
I interviewed multiple companies & no one came close to matching Honesty, Talent, Price, Quality with design & construction knowledge.
I am a commercial construction mngr. & know all the tricks the other companies tried to play.
Luca walked into the room & we were off to the races where others had just scratched their heads & threw $ at it .
Luca was on point & made our 2 custom home projects an affordable reality.
I was introduced to Luca via my real estate friend that built many successful projects with Luca . I now pass this intro on to you so you too can have a successful project

It was a very positive experience to work with Proteus Homes. Not only were there several ADU plan options for our space, but we appreciated the choices for customization. We have done several remodeling projects with our main house and we appreciated our contractor, but Proteus topped our previous experiences. Communication was open and all parties were very responsive and helpful. The general contractor for our site was very easy to reach, responded quickly to any question, and followed through with updates on site progress and next steps. Even when unexpected challenges arose, the Proteus team represented our interests well, helped to mitigate costs , and remained flexible finding solutions in a timely manner. Billing was transparent and scheduled at appropriate intervals.
Workmanship was detailed mechanically and aesthetically, work-crews respected our property and clean up was done quickly. We are very pleased with our experience with the Proteus team!

Proteus Homes is absolutely fantastic! Their quality of work, professionalism, and expertise is quite remarkable! They built a 535sqft detached ADU for my mom and we are very, very happy with the end product!
During the design phase, Luca and JD were extremely helpful when I was stuck on trying to decide which design would fit the vision I had for my mom's ADU! JD communicated regularly throughout the design and permitting process. Ryan was quick to respond to any concerns that needed addressed.
But, once the final phases begun, Rusty was truly the one person that had to work with me on a regularly basis (that in itself is a hard job)! Rusty was kind, patient, and happy to answer my many questions! He never lost his patience with me and always kept such a kind and pleasant demeanor. Thank you Rusty! Your wisdom about the many avenues of construction and your hard work was greatly appreciated!
If you are looking for a team to "weather the storms" of a new build, Proteus Homes will not disappoint! This team is truly a rare find!

We loved working with Luca and Ryan. They are personable professional and the products they used to build our house were the best. All their subs were extremely friendly knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I have to admit because of Covid and because of the economy there were delays but finally my house is done and I’m so happy to be living in it. Any issues that have come up, (and they do come up when you build a new house) , they have been quick to take care of for me. The project manager And I created a punchlist and worked together to get things done.. this was certainly an experience and the first time we have ever been involved in building a home on a piece of property that for a long time was just dirt. If anyone would ask me I would say I would definitely recommend Proteus. They can always be reached and they’re always willing to work with you to get things done. So happy to be in my new home.
