We truly love our home, but unfortunately we have experienced several significant issues since purchasing it.Within the first two months of living here, we had a main water line leak that required repair by RDH. Within the first year, multiple windows also had to be replaced. Most recently, in January 2026, we submitted another request for window replacement after having our windows professionally cleaned and discovering fogging between the panes in our master bedroom window.The most concerning and ongoing issue, however, has been repeated roof leaks. The first leak required extensive back-and-forth before RDH agreed to address it. At that time, RDH’s roofer confirmed the issue was not caused by an act of God, but rather improper sealing and installation. Despite this, the repair was not successful and the problem has worsened over time.We then experienced a second leak due to the chimney not being properly sealed, which resulted in water dripping into our closet. We ultimately had to pay out of pocket for a roofing professional to repair that issue. Now again, in January 2026, the original roof leak that was supposedly repaired has returned as snow melts from the roof.We have lived in this home for about four years, and these are not issues homeowners should reasonably be experiencing, especially those related to construction quality. Unfortunately, we are now being told we must wait until weather conditions improve before any additional repairs can be made.Based on our experience, if you are purchasing a home from RDH, it is critical to have an extremely thorough home inspection. After the first year, RDH will not address repairs related to their building errors, leaving homeowners to deal with costly and ongoing issues on their own.After a week no calls from RDH.
