I’ve moved in to my home a little over a year and have had many problems relating to the quality of the homes. So many little problems that I need to constantly submit tickets to get fixed. Water leaks, quality problems with doors, cabinets, just poor building overall.
We are very happy with everything this team has done for us. They had our best interest at all times, and we are proud to own a home in their community. Our home is beautiful and was constructed with the best available materials. Quality workmanship.
We are extremely impressed with the quality of the homes they build. It was a little bit bumpy at the start, but things became clearer when we understood certain things. They were transparent in every aspect; not all builders are transparent.
Edit 18 months later:I don't recommend GL Homes anymore. Specifically for professionals with 1+ mil to spend on a home. The headache of dealing with this builder after signing the contract is not worth it.1. The construction manager ignored our written request for pre-drywall inspection, breaching our right to inspection as spelled out in the contract. No acknowledgment, no apologies, no concessions. It was passive-aggressive behavior and insulting.2. They forced us to pick different floor tiles twice. We ended up downgrading, and the price difference was not reflected on the total cost but instead given "closing cost credit"!3. They put a double door exactly where we selected door delete.I will continue to update this review. I will add pictures in the future. For now, you can see the door where it wasn't supposed to be. It reminds me of the "you got one job" memes!!=================
