I have seen their craftsmanship. Wish we had been able to have them build our custom home in the first place. Asking now for a chance to get them to do an add on for us. From what I have seen they can do anything and do it right!

HH talked a good game ??????…
This company has been handed off to Gen-2 (the sons) and their sense of ownership is more "????????????????" than that of HH's creator.
HH is really just a project manager whose offering is their "experience", a "cost-plus build" and their "service-after-the-sale".

HH's profect managent was fair… definitely NOT great.
The subs really do all the work and while most are very good… they're also overly dependent on HH.
We've had terrible problems with our first floors' boards being cupped due to ???????? project management AND had to involve lawyers for HH to even acknowedge there was a problem. Money is in escrow and it has now been OVER A YEAR. The floors have dryed out and a number of the knot fillings have failed, gaps have appeared, boards have crowned and HH is stalling on the floor's resolution because the repair costs are their responsibility (and not the subs).

RE: HH Cost-plus build proposition
We quickly learned that cost-plus is misleading...almost a shamm. Yes, you'll see the invoices from their subs but the sub's invoices have little-to-no-detail so you will have no idea what the line items truly cost.

RE: HH Service after the sale.
HH has also stopped servicing our punch list items in lame attempt to lessen our resolve regarding the hardwood floor repairs when, in fact, we are more irritated and committed than before. HH says it's "the service manager's fault" but he's a fine, line-level employee and HH is a small company… Net/Net: everyone we encountered does exactly what they're told to do by Gen-2 (aka management).
?????????????? ???? ???? ?? ??????????. We are confident HH was a fine company to begin with. Hopefully Gen-2 will mature as time goes on and continue to build a business their father would/could/will be proud of.
