Customer feedback is mixed. Positive reviews mention helpful communication from sales staff during the buying process. Critical reviews cite concerns about workmanship quality, follow-through on issues, and overall construction experience. Prospective buyers often note the importance of clear expectations on finishes, timelines, and post-close support.

Pilar C is nightmare to work with. A friend warned my husband & I about her but we thought we would try anyway. She was condescending , rude, unpleasant, & made the entire experience horrible. She is losing the company money. Beware if you work with her.

I purchased a home from Silverthorne homes(Arbor) in December, brand new build, worst decision I’ve ever made. The workmanship and quality of materials being used is absolutely trash! The drywall is weak, you hear everything from every room, easily dents and the paint is the worst. Uneven paint, weird spots, just awful. I have brownish rings showing through the paint through out the house and they won’t address it. I’ll attach a couple of photos of it below. It’s highly overpriced for the finished product you get. It looks nice from the outside but the inside quality and workmanship will make you regret your purchase instantly. Their warranty team is very unprofessional and not helpful in the least. I’ve had several issues and request and they aren’t addressed properly, they just close them out and don’t respond. If you are looking to buy here beware, I’d highly recommend you go get something that was built 20 years ago that’s in good condition.

The only good thing about this place was the sales person, Pilar, she was great to work with. I’ve spoken to other homeowners in the community and there are plenty of others who feel the same way about the quality, craftsmanship and warranty team.

Building with Arbor Homes (or their alias, Silverthorne Homes) was the worst decision we’ve ever made. What should have been our dream home turned into a nightmare of sloppy work, broken promises, and zero accountability.

The craftsmanship is rushed and careless—things started breaking down almost immediately. They went through multiple superintendents, and their mortgage rep, Jeff Day, was only focused on his commission.

But the worst part is the warranty team. They ignore requests, mark repairs as “complete” when no one shows up, and delay everything until your warranty conveniently runs out. They treat homeowners like a burden.

Silverthorne is just a legal loophole to hide the Arbor Homes name, but it’s the same mess. I wish we had trusted the Arbor Homes BBB reviews—they were all true.

We know people who built with Lennar, Estridge, and David Weekley, and none of them had to deal with anything like this. These builders actually stand behind their work. Silverthorne/Arbor Homes doesn’t.

Avoid this builder at all costs.

I had an amazing experience working with Pilar during the purchase of my home. She was incredibly kind, professional, and responsible throughout the entire process. She made everything smooth and stress-free, always going above and beyond to assist me—even after work hours. Her dedication to helping families is truly remarkable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a seamless home-buying experience. Thank you Pilar for all you help We are so Happy & love our Home
