they make beautiful homes but apparently aren't willing to work with the neighbors to improve the neighborhood. There is a 1/10th of a mile stretch of road that goes along with a somewhat undesirable lot owned by Douglas that doesn't have a sidewalk. After the city told me to contact the builder i reached out to inquire if they'd add a sidewalk while doing the one for a home currently being built on the adjacent road (Joy Court), but she was quite curt with her answer to me that it's just not something they will even consider. Very disappointed that they won't improve the lives of their neighbors.
My husband and I just walked through his newest home. So beautiful! We live in the neighborhood, in our own Douglas Custom Home, and could not be happier. The quality of workmanship is unmatched. He not only built a lovely home for us to abide together, but a welcoming neighborhood to live side by side with friends.
Doug and his construction team have helped us tremendously in getting our business opened in a new commercial strip center. He has been very responsive to our needs and greatly accommodating when manpower was needed. I recently moved from Wichita Falls to the DFW area and we miss our Douglas Custom Home so much! The craftsmanship and little details Doug puts in his homes are unmatched. Things like moulding, rounded corners, beautiful granite countertops, custom cabinets, lighting over the mirrors, upgraded fixtures and lighting, huge closets and tons of storage just aren’t a thing here for the price Doug sells his homes for. We miss our open floor plan, huge bedrooms and huge yard! If you are looking for a builder in Wichita Falls, Doug is your guy!
