Liberty Builders did a fabulous job of creating our vision of our dream home. From the start, when Cece was drawing up plans and putting my changes into reality, to the end, when Hank followed through making sure that everything was the way it should be we were very pleased with the results. Our project manager, Sam, really cared about the results and the quality of our home. To sum it up, we love our Liberty home and the customization that Liberty allows you.
Under promised, over delivered, and more than went that extra mile.Meeting Roger at Liberty Homes early one Friday afternoon was, quite honestly, something that almost didn’t happen. My wife and I were on the tail end of a solid week of meeting with most all of the builders in Brunswick Forest, listening patiently to one sales pitch after another, and viewing their model homes. Believing we were armed with as much information than was probably needed to make a decision on a builder, we were more than ready to head back to Virginia. However, we still hadn’t visited the last builder on our list, Liberty Homes. Begrudgingly, we decided to stick it out and sit down with Roger and quickly noticed that there was something about his demeanor and mild sales pitch that really resonated with us. He was in the middle of his lunch, and we were more than ready to motor back up I-95, so we wasted little time talking with each other about the things that mattered most, to each of us, as home buyers and as a home builder. The meeting ended with Roger handing us a listing of all of their models and an invitation to take a tour the next time my wife and I were back in town. The conversation lasted maybe fifteen minutes, but it felt like none of the other numerous meetings my wife and I had that week and, needless to say, we ended up staying in town a few more days to tour their models.Following years of traveling up and down the North Carolina coast looking for our ideal retirement community (Brunswick Forest), my wife and I spent almost another year following my meeting with Roger pouring over dozens and dozens of floor plans from Liberty and the other builders in Brunswick Forest. Truth be known, we found only two home builders, one being Liberty, able to accommodate the floor plan we had in mind without moving to a significantly higher priced custom home builder. What differentiated Liberty from the other home builder, was, more than anything, working with CeCee, Liberty’s builder representative. I kid you not, CeCee was returning emails often times very late into the evening. Her tireless efforts working with Jonas, our pre-construction architect and estimator, to make our floor plan work sealed the deal.Today, we’re the proud owners of Liberty’s Summerlyn model, perfectly placed on a lot in Cape Fear National. We now consider Roger, CeCee, Jonas, Bryan, Ann, Hannah, Lori, Andy, Jaramie, Marybeth, Melissa, and Hank our friends, and not simply individuals who were part of a business transaction. And with respect to Jaramie, our construction manager, we’re not sure anyone else could have been as courteous and professional when we had questions, as thoughtful in his answers, or would have measured up to his drive and attention to detail in building our dream retirement home.Most of this build took place during the height of the pandemic. But even with all of the supply chain and labor shortages, Liberty Homes, all the way down to their subcontractors, over-delivered and built a retirement home that is exactly what my wife and I had envisioned. With the home built, and thanks to everyone at Liberty Homes, there is quite literally nothing we would have done differently – no second thoughts about anything. And, we certainly couldn’t be happier that we made that “last” stop, that Friday, at Liberty Homes and met Roger.
