Building a home with HiLine homes was a great experience from beginning to end. From getting permits to the finished project they were there every step of the way. Of course, nothing ever goes perfectly but the team we worked with was always easy to reach and helped to solve any issues quickly.
It was nice to be able to be hands on with the build but also have someone by our side to keep us on track and moving forward. They also allowed us to add our own touches to our home like the beautiful beams in the living room. The crews that came for each process were amazing and friendly and professional.
The Home was finished in exactly 6 months from the start of the build and is really well constructed! The team was knowledgeable and always ready to work with us on things we wanted to change or do differently. They genuinely cared about making sure we were happy with the final result. We absolutely LOVE our new home!!!
We would highly recommend HiLine homes to anyone looking to build and would definitely use them again!

I had a really good experience building with HiLine. I cannot say enough great things about how easy it was to work with the Yakima office (Becky) and project Manager (Jared) for my build. To start, you work with sales (Becky) to define your build and choose your options to get a full cost. There are a lot of customizations and finishings to choose from. And the base floor plans include a lot a quality finishings such as granite/quartz countertops, hardie siding, multitudes of cabinet, door, floor choices a very high-efficiency heat-pump... There are also customizations to structure and electrical to choose from (for example RV circuits). On some floor plans there are dormer / skylight options. Or a 3rd car garage with the option insulate and finish the garage (which I did). HiLine even threw some upgrades which was really nice! Next, HiLine takes care of all the plans, including the local regulation, snow-load specs for your roof etc. After your plans are approved with your local government, you get a full-time project manager (ask for Jared!) and approved building plans. HiLine has a very good process outlined in a document that allows you to follow-through the build process when you have check-ins with Jared. That is essential, because parts of the construction are your responsibility – for example, getting your preliminary site review approved with the county, excavation and utility hook-ups. In general, anything outside the house is your responsibility (this might not be for everyone, but I really loved being involved in my build). For example concrete steps and patios. When I couldn’t get my concrete contractor on-site until the following Spring, HiLine built me temporary wooden steps -- free of charge! This allowed final inspection to pass and me to occupy the home during winter! I had some issues with HVAC airflow but their contractor resolved everything! If you’re looking for an affordable home build on your own land, HiLine Homes is the one!

We recently retired and was looking for a home builder to build our dream home on acreage in Ellensburg. We met with Becky at HiLine and enjoyed her very much. She listened to our wants and needs and designed the perfect home for us. When the building began, we were in constant contact with the project manager, Jared. I am here to tell you that I have been in small construction all my life and have dealt with many contractors, and Jared was by far the best communicator! He worked with us on everything and was prompt and friendly. We used HiLine from beginning to end and having to go through our first home build, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our home site was a challenge to build on as it was rocky and on a slope and we appreciated the positive attitudes in getting the foundation in and materials at the building site. Jared onsite project manager - kept us informed. He answered promptly with our questions. He offered helpful suggestions.The delivey of materials were always timely, and delivery workers were courteous and professional. The contractors Hiline hired were hard working and fast - experts. We love our house design. It is very well built. The price reasonable in today's market. We have had a very positive experience with every person we have engaged with and construction of our home.
