Bought a house from Jacobson because I was told they had a good reputation for building homes.When I spoke to the agent she advised Jacobson homes are quality homes built to last. After buying my “new build” off of Phoenix drive “Desert Sky” subdivison I was very excited.I hired a private inspector to check the home, the inspector noted multiple issues with the house on the official report I turned into Jacobson prior to closing. Jacobson advised they would honor the report and fix the issues.Fast forward 7 months my “Newbuild” has a major roof leak to the point I needed a bucket under the ceiling and none of the issues addressed were ever fixed.Moral of the story if you think Jacobson builds homes to last like I did turn around and run the other way.If this review isn't updated that means Jacobson never came around to fixing the problems on a 340,000 “Newbuild” with a leaking roof.Jacobson if you reading this you still have a chance to redeem yourself. I expect better and so do my neighbors who have issues with there homes.UpdateThey were quick on fixing the issues reported to include the roof leak. The review will be updated to 3 starts due to the response in fixing the issues.Im waiting to see if the roof leak is properly fixed and if a warranty extension for the roof will be granted.
We bought one they helped every time we have questions on exact color of house or how to run pipe under driveway ect: very professional your not talking to a computer makes it fast and easy
Quality builder, I just wish they offered a larger selection of paint options and tile options as well as upgraded the carpet selection. Overall I'd recommend this builder over several others.
