Our tech Jacob helped us through a major but difficult-to-diagnose component failure this weekend. He and took ownership of the issue up front, was quick to communicate at each step, treated us fairly, and ultimately solved the problem. Years down the road when I need a new unit I will be calling McDuffee.
So thankful for Jacob coming out tonight at 10 p.m. to change the capacitor on our A/C unit. He was so nice, empathetic, and knowledgeable. He kept us involved in the process and was up front about the cost. I will only use McDuffy in the future!

Very prompt response, and in my case, I didn't even have a major mechanical repair issue but got a worthwhile education about furnace electronics and air filters at a reasonable price; the diagnosis and suggestions were worth the service fee alone when dealing with a short cycling furnace in January. In my case it was something as simple as an anti-allergen air filter being so thick that it reduced airflow enough to get a mechanically sound system to shut down, which hadn't been an issue prior, but systems don't always behave the same from one year to the next. Their technician Jacob was very thorough and communicative about checking all the common culprits, and provided good recommendations for future maintenance.
