The Coolest LLC

We had both of our AC units replaced by The Coolest a few years ago and they did an awesome job. Their price was lower and their scheduling was way quicker that anyone else who quoted us. Unfortunately both units quit cooling within a week of each other. I called The Coolest on Monday morning and they had a technician over within the hour. They determined that both units had freon leaks in the evaporator coils up in the attic. I know enough about AC to know that this was unlikely an installation issue but a manufacturing defect. The parts were still under warranty from Carrier but unfortunately we had to pay for installation. They were able to get the replacement parts quickly and we had cold air again by Tuesday evening. Our old Carrier systems lasted 24 years with only a few minor issues. I'm hoping this was a one time manufacturing defect, but if it breaks again I'm definitely calling The Coolest.

5 Stars Our A/C stopped working last night—in July, in Texas. Our regular HVAC company, which installed our system and provides our monthly maintenance plan, had us scheduled for a 5:00 PM appointment but called around 4:00 PM to cancel and reschedule. I called The Coolest at 4:45 PM. They had a technician at our house by 6:00 PM, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had our A/C running again in about 20 minutes. Fast, professional, honest service when we needed it most. They’ve definitely earned our business going forward. Highly recommend.

After working with roughly a dozen HVAC companies over 16 years in my house, The Coolest is the only one that made me feel 100% confident in their service. Reece from The Coolest was the first person who could actually explain why my small house needed two HVAC units. Every other company was stumped, and consolidating to a single unit would have been a costly mistake. His recommendation of a variable speed system was exactly right. When my older unit needed a quick repair, they handled it without drama. That's what sets The Coolest apart: they walk in confident they can solve the problem instead of making you brace for an impossible fix. I now have the most perfect HVAC company in Austin. Coolest was by far the best "and the Coolest" of the 5 estimates from different Austin HVAC companies who gave us estimates. One of the companies gave us an estimate of 50% more for basically the same HVAC units! And not only did they have the best estimate but they also had the best customer service by far. We also are very impressed with the humidity control, efficiency and the new thermostats they installed (ecobee). A very well named company since they definitely are the Coolest :) They installed 2 new HVAC units for us, and they did it under very unusual circumstances. .. We had a bad storm the night before they did their install and a giant oak tree fell and blocked them from our HVAC units. They patiently waited for the tree cutter to come and remove the tree and did the project same day. And they did a fantastic job ensuring we received the Austin rebates available (and our military discount). We primarily worked with Reece, Mark and Jackson and all three were fantastic. Highly recommend this company for all of your HVAC projects and repairs.

We had a 3-zone mini-split system installed in one day, and we’re really happy with how everything went. We got several estimates and talked to a lot of HVAC companies, but we chose this company in large part because of Reece. He answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly, and he took the time to explain things in a way that helped us feel confident about our decision. The price was competitive, and they followed through on what they said they would do. They called when they said they would call, showed up when they said they would show up, and got the job done. Rigo, Caleb, and Dagan were great — professional, friendly, hardworking, and easy to have around the house. The new system is working great. I’m extremely happy and impressed with the work this company did installing mini-split systems in my two garages. The Coolest gave us a great experience. The initial assessment was quick and the techs were informative, but refreshingly weren’t pushy salesmen. Over the next 3 weeks while I got quotes with other groups, they only reached out one time to give me a walk through of the quotes. When I came back to the Coolest team (Reece), to compare a competing bid and they quickly worked with me to get a comparable unit that they offer. The install itself was exactly what you’d want - uneventful. Rigo and Caleb showed up on time, got the full installation completed, configured, and cleaned up before the kids made it home from school. They were very professional and walked me through the new technology so that I can maintain and use it all effectively. So grateful we found the Coolest. Would recommend them to anyone.

I had the pleasure of working with Reese, Rigo and Caleb for the complete replacement of my HVAC system.
