This is my second time writing a review for Josh at Main Mechanical and I'll continue to write them every time he shows up. I had some boiler work done a few years ago and was so impressed by his dedication to the work and customer service that I made sure to call again when it needed replacing. I work with a lot of contractors and am usually pretty disappointed by their performance. This is absolutely not the case with MM. From start to finish, I found Josh to be consistent, fair, honest and trustworthy. His work was clean and done in a timely manner. It was extremely clear that he took the time to make sure things were done right and didn't cut any corners. At the end of the day, I really just want someone who answers the phone and show up when they say they will, to do the job they say they're going to do (its shouldn't be hard to find, right?) (but it is...) with the exception being Josh at MM. If I had a father-in-law I was eager to impress and he needed some work done, I wouldn't hesitate to refer him. Next time I need something done right and on time, I know who I'll be calling! And you should too!
Josh was an amazing professional who came out in the early morning before his other 8 AM call to ensure that we got the support we needed with our boiler. He was able to diagnose the problem and gave us a comprehensive and clear evaluation of the various scenarios that could play out for the broken boiler that was filled with sediment. Josh was ethical, straightforward and very knowledgeable. He does excellent work, and I would give him a five star rating to anyone who wanted a local, honest person working at their house!Ellen Guettler
Josh was wonderful! Our furnace and water heater broke at the same time and he was quick to help us replace both! Super responsive, speedy, and easy to work with. We have an old house and he even fixed some other things while he was here. Highly recommend!! 5 stars.
Josh was great! The time from calling him for a quote to swapping out the old boiler and installing the new was less than 1 week. I still haven’t even heard from some other companies. He cares about his customers and it shows in his customer service. This is during a time when not many companies value their customer service any more, which is very important for me. His price was fair as well. I will be calling Josh for any future services! Thanks Josh!!
The experience I had in dealing with Josh was all that I could have ever hoped for! His response to my request was immediate. The quality of work went beyond that of other contractors I have dealt with. He not only installed new equipment but ensured the safety of my home and unit by replacing outdated fittings as needed. At the same time, he was sensitive to the overall cost of the job and did not perform unnecessary repairs/replacements. Josh worked with my schedule and took pride in getting the job done as fast as possible. I really could not say enough good things about the overall experience. I felt my job was just as important as anyone else although small. And most importantly, I felt the business I gave him was appreciated. Being in the process of undergoing a full remodel on my home I can attest that this is not what you get from most contractors. I would recommend Josh to anyone for their heating needs and will keep him in mind as my go-to for any future projects. A million thanks!
