Failed to fix an issue with our zoned system despite many visits over 2.5 months and over $4500 in equipment. Hired another company who fixed it swiftly and removed equipment that Comfort Zone installed that was contraindicated with our system. The new company confirmed what we already suspected about Comfort Zone- that they had no idea how to fix it yet continued to sell us expensive fixes. New thermostat they installed ( that was not needed) was still set at factory default settings. They never set up for our system. Replaced main board (didn’t need replacing) and left wires exposed and never returned to fix as promised. Multiple calls to company to manager and owner to discuss issues were never returned. That speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and not standing behind their work and so called expertise. Don’t waste your time and money with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND
I had comfort zone come address a non working ac system. A employee in ripped jeans and a paint covered t shirt showed up and walked through my home with his wet shoes on. I asked him to wear booties but he said they had none.He cleaned my condensate lines and charged me $500 ish. The very next day, my ac stopped working again. I called back at 1 pm on a Thursday and nobody answered.I couldn’t wait for them to call back, so I went and purchased a shop vac and re did it myself. The lines were full of sludge! They did not fully clean the lines and the system was full of water. I would not use comfort zone. Nothing but headaches and poor work quality.
Do not use this company. My newly installed hvac unit doesn’t work and they will not come fix it as their customer service rep says there is no warranty. They use virtual assistants in Vietnam, if you ever have an issue you can not talk to anyone at the company. You talk to someone overseas that has never heard of you.My install was supposed to take 1 day, it took 4. The first install crew got into an argument with the foreman in my front yard. He stormed off yelling and screaming all kinds of obscenities in front of my kids, then he quit and sped away.I should have fired comfort zone immediately, but they made me pay in full before service was started. I now know why.The next crew came 2 days later and told me they are sub contractors and haven’t performed this type of work before. I called comfort zone and they sent Alan. Alan worked at my home for 4 days installing a mini split. He worked a few hours each day. He said he’s a field manager but since they are short staffed he’d be installing my system. I was concerned that he could not complete the project. I was assured by management that he could.I’ve used this system two times, the second time I’ve turned it on it blows warm air.Andy the owner promised to take care of any issues, he has not made good on his promise. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Do not use them!*** Update, another company came and found a leak in the system. They refilled the ac and fixed the leak. Comfort zone has not returned any of my calls or email. Andy has not reimbursed my cost of $800 ish to fix the system.
I called and was able to get a technician out to my home within an hour. Tyler was my technician and did a fantastic job. Tyler saw small issue an recommended we get it done. I approved and work was done. System is now working great. I would recommend company and technician.
I had some warranty work that needed to be done with my unit. The technician Quynh That came to my home was very kind, insightful, and informative. He was able to pinpoint the exact part that needed to be replaced and the reason why the part was damaging the unit causing the unit to not function as intended. He was communicative and responsive and had a firm control of the situation. I would like to thank comfort zone and Quynh For the help!
