Called these guys out to diagnose our ac after looking g at for all of 5min. They immediately said we needed to replace the entire system for like $20,000 and didn't even want to look at other options. I then call JLI Hvac mechanical services and they fixed it immediately apparently our motor need a little work done was all it only costed $300. Im really happy I got a second opinion before I went into debt for $20,000. This is a very crooked way to do business and this isn't the first time a big hvac company has tried to screw me over. Alway get a second opinion this company will try to talk you out of speaking to anyone but them.
Coomes was recommended to me by a neighbor for their quality service, knowledgeable techs, and fair pricing—and they definitely lived up to the recommendation. I was really happy with the service I received at my home. My AC was fixed the same day, and the technician (Eduardo M.) provided 5-star service from start to finish. Great experience overall.
Eddie came out and serviced my unit and was professional and very thorough. Eddie explained every bullet point he checked and its range and what it means. Very knowledgeable. I’ve used Coomes now for at least 12 years and they’ve been the best. They keep my system up and running and they are pretty quick on getting service calls scheduled if not that day, the next day. No one else services my system but Coomes. Everyone is friendly, professional and shows great integrity when on my property.
Update to previous review. Not sure if the following staff work for Coomes or Willard but shoutout to Robbie, Roxy, Service Manager Robert and Senior Service Tech Byron for making it right!GET A SECOND OPINION!! Disappointed in the service I received. After 2 visits and over $400 out of pocket, I identified and resolved my own issue… a clogged drain but was told I needed a brand new system! Other than the tech being punctual with a great personality, I have nothing else good to say!
We had a great experience with Abel doing our regular maintenance inspection for spring. He was knowledgeable and let us know the concerns.We had been crossing our fingers for the last year holding off on unit replacement but finally had to get a new unit. The crew came out the next day consisting of Cole, Mark, Tomas, and Atah from Willard, working in conjunction with Coomes. They did an outstanding job. Kept everything clean, tidied up after themselves, were incredibly polite and knowledgeable about their equipment and their jobs. We haven’t had a nicer group of technicians and installers except for these gentlemen from Coomes and Willard working together. They checked everything to ensure it worked properly, and instructed us in how to change out the new filter, operate the new thermostat, etc. Sorry this is long, but they did an impressive job. More companies could learn from their outstanding service.
