After purchasing our home, our realtor highly recommended Kraus Mechanical Contracting (KMC) to replace our entire HVAC system. Even with that strong endorsement, we still obtained three additional quotes from other contractors. In the end, choosing KMC was an easy decision, and we are extremely glad we did.From the very beginning, we were impressed with the owner, Jason Kraus. His knowledge, expertise, and experience with HVAC systems were obvious, but what really stood out was his honesty, integrity, and attention to detail. Unlike some of the other contractors, Jason never tried to sell us unnecessary repairs or upgrades. Instead, he took the time to understand why our crawl space furnace and ductwork had become overwhelmed with mold and then discussed practical ways to prevent it from happening again. He patiently walked us through our options and pricing, provided a detailed written estimate, and never pressured us or bombarded us with follow up calls.It is now been almost three months since we contracted with Jason, and everything we requested has been completed, including: two entirely new HVAC systems (furnaces and condensers), all new ductwork in the crawl space, a new gas line for our tankless water heater, upgrading all of our electrical switches and receptacles, replacing the under cabinet kitchen lighting, installing new toilets and a bathroom vanity, several new light fixtures, replacing outdated recessed lights, all new smoke detectors, reinforcing our exterior water faucets, repairing our landscape lighting wiring, and a long list of other items. As we quickly learned, Jason does not just do HVAC. He is also highly skilled with plumbing and electrical work.Throughout the project, Jason’s reliability and flexibility were exceptional. He and his crew always showed up when they said they would, and when other contractors caused delays, Jason never complained. He simply adjusted his schedule and worked around everyone else to keep our project moving forward. That type of professionalism is rare.On a personal level, Jason is a fantastic individual. His crew is made up of family members, and every single one of them was polite, respectful, hard working, and a pleasure to have in our home. The combination of top tier workmanship, integrity, and reliability made this a truly outstanding experience.Overall, we are 110% satisfied with the quality of work completed by Jason and his team at Kraus Mechanical Contracting. Excellent experience when Jason and Bailey came out to give us a complimentary second opinion on why our central heat wasn’t working. They were honest, explanatory, thorough, and took the issue seriously. When the issue turned out to be just a flipped breaker, they didn’t try to add on additional cost or upsell services. Jason was patient with my questions and even took the time to program our smart thermostat at no charge. I insisted on gifting them for their time and he didn’t want to accept however he said he would add it to the Thanksgiving Giveaway the company is having to bless someone in need. 10/10 recommend Kraus Mechanical and we plan to use them for our future HVAC needs.??????????
