I learned the value of a second opinion! I called Springhill Heating and Cooling when my HVAC got a power surge during an ice storm and stopped working. I agreed to pay a $199 non-refundable fee to get them to come out. They were there the same day.The technician told me the motherboards needed to be replaced and that “it might not be the problem, but that was the starting point.” He quoted me $1,700 for the motherboards (we have two units). I was also given the option to replace my heat pumps for $4,500 or replace the units entirely for $18,000.While the temperatures were terrible, we were fortunate to have gas logs as backup heat, so we had time to sort out our next best option. I was recommended a local company to my area, and they also showed up the same day. I didn’t have to agree to hazard pay for him to come out. He fixed the issue on the spot and said the power transformer was bad ?????. The total bill was $200!I’m thankful that was the only problem, but what was Springhill Heating and Cooling doing? Were they taking advantage of me being in a desperate situation, hoping I would make a rash decision?I have used this company for many years, but no longer. I hope it was an honest mistake and that the technician didn’t check the transformers and jumped to conclusions. Regardless, they will not receive any more business from me or any of my friends or family.Get that second opinion!
Have done business with them for years. Professional and courteous. We use the twice per year checkup plan. They have corrected things under warranty for us. Recently after checkup, overnight heat was not working well. They were back out the next day to correct it quickly. Check them out!
Spring Hill Air and Heating proactively reached out to set my seasonal tune-up appointment. They told me they’d call the morning of my appointment before they headed my way, which they did. They came right on time, did the work efficiently, professionally and very politely. This was their second time-up on my 16 year old unit and I’m pleased with their work. I would recommend them to anyone.
Dec. 2023 The employees are always extremely thorough at Spring Hill heat and air. They are conscientious about not bringing mud in, and take extra time to clean and inspect everything. They treat my home, as if it was their own. They work with you until the problem is solved. The pictures show what they had to clean up and replace, basically starting like in a brand new home, and it wasn’t an easy task.July 2025John was here when he was supposed to be. They sent me a reminder email and called. Then they called before his arrival. That’s excellent business. Everything was checked thoroughly. I highly recommend buying their maintenance service. They service winter and summer for one annual fee. I bought a 3-4 year package.Nov. 2025I don't use any other HVAC team. They always come when they say they will and do a good job of checking everything as part of my twice a year service.
Outstanding services & products from an outstanding company. We've utilized Spring Hill Heating & Cooling for our maintenance on our two HVAC systems for ~6 years. Our duct work started to fail early this fall, and we needed to replace our first floor HVAC system. Spring Hill acted quickly. Great pricing, great people. We highly recommend this company.
