The technician called before he arrived to let me know that he was running late, because he had something to do in the office. He arrived at the time he had said and started right away with the service of out heart pump. He work with now break and explained everything during his service. He cleaned out the filters outside with a vacuum at his service car. He was friendly and cleaned after his work. Thanks for the service.
I was totally pleased with the work done by the Westisle Heating and Cooling technician on my furnace, water heater and 2 gas fireplaces. This on a home recently purchased by me. I have not had gas appliances before in my adult life. I feel that appliances are more efficient to operate when maintained properly. The technician was efficient, and easy to communicate with. I am thankful for the service, also for the rebates offered by Fortis.
Fantastic service. They did a re&re on my entire heating/cooling system.System has been working perfectly, had a few issues to begin with, But Adam’s Customer Service and determination to solve any and all issues, is unprecedented.I couldn’t be more happier with the performance of my Mitsubishi system this summer! Worth every penny.Highly recommend WESTISLE for ALL your Heating & Cooling needs.
Service call on October 15 2025 lasted 2 hours resulting in the filters of my heat pump getting rinsed in my kitchen sink and put back in place. This service cost $336.00! I kept copious notes of the activities of the service technician with highlights as follows: glass on my gas fireplace cleaned to remove his fingertips marking the glass. A call to another rep to help him figure out why my gas fireplace wasn’t working however no solution. It was decided that a new part was needed and would have to be ordered. The parts “manager” advised it would take about a week to get the part and that it would cost an additional $700.00. An email was subsequently received that said the timing quoted was a “miscommunication” and it would take 5+weeks. I requested the name of the part ordered and the email response was “It’s a Controller for Fireplace”. No such part listed in the owners manual.I couldn’t find the service technician for about 20 minutes until I found him sitting down in my garage on his cellphone apparently looking for the manual for my HVC system which he eventually tells me is not worth fixing. My detailed notes and copies of all the emails from WestIsle are being kept for future reference. My feedback to the home owners in the Comox Valley is to NOT call this company for service or repairs. Zero confidence in their ability or that they have ANY experienced/knowledgable service technicians for service and/or repairs on heating or cooling systems. As a past president of my strata I will ensure owners are aware of this experience. Another strata owner called WestIsle about their gas fireplace and they were quoted a price much higher than mine. We both ended up with the same reliable gas fireplace repair company.
Have been very happy with the Mitsubishi Heat Pumps we had installed after having our home heating/cooling needs assessed by Westisle a few years ago.We get them serviced every Fall by their competent, thorough and personable technicians and have been very happy with both the quality and reliability of the units and the Customer Service.
