I've used FOPS for multiple tune-ups on my old system, and the service has always been great.When the old system died, they were able to replace the furnace/AC at a very reasonable rate. The service has always been great and I recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC service in the Quad Cities.
Had an old furnace go out on a Thursday evening prior to a holiday weekend expected to be below freezing. They called me early Friday am and sent out a technician who was very knowledgeable. Had a new furnace (which was located outside the area) installed by a couple of there installers who were thorough before 2pm same day. All this was done for a very reasonable price especially due to the situation. I highly recommend FOPS and plan to set up a maintenance program with them this year.
My furnace went out and they were out right away. There customer service is top of the line and they did a wonderful job. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to everyone.
Our furnace stopped working, so my husband and I called Northwest Plumbing, Heating, and AC. A tech came over and told us we needed a new control board, and quoted the fix at $990. Then we were charged the diagnostic fee and left with no heat. We wanted a second opinion so we called FOPS. Dustin was over within 30 minutes of us calling, and found that the real issue was the main limit switch and it was fixed for $150. I will gladly call them again in the future and highly recommend FOPS to everyone!
So I woke up Monday morning at 1:30 to no heat, remembered that quite a few of my friends recommended FOPS mechanical so I called the emergency line around 2:00am. I got a call back at 6:00am from them and they said they could have someone out by 8:30 or 9:00 that morning. Well they weren’t exactly correct with the time because the tech was at my house and looking at the furnace by 8:00! He had it diagnosed by 9:00 and unfortunately they wouldn’t have the part till the next day. The tech even called the shop to see if they had any heaters we could use. Unfortunately they didn’t but the fact that he even asked was amazing. Part came in at noon the next day and we had heat by 1:00pm. If you ever need HVAC service you have to give FOPS a call, absolutely amazing service!
